We wanted to try a new to us restaurant in Akron and the menu looked interesting.
We came in about 7pm. There was only one other guest in the while restaurant on a Friday night.
The dining room had cardboard boxes stacked up on the left side. So many tables had “do not sit here” signs.
The food was mediocre.
What really irritated me was the ridiculous comment on the receipt stating “parties of one or more will automatically be charged in 18% gratuity”....read full review
Great fried chicken. And Blue Cheese coleslaw.
We happened to come in while waiting for the Herb Alpert Concert and the restaurant was completely booked for the night.(Reservations Recommended) The co-owner Candie (Spelling) told us if we wanted to be seated at the bar, we quickly said yes. This was a great decision to stay and have cocktails and dinner. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very inviting.
