This place is horrible. First the service is way too long. I went in for the first time being here. Guy was rude. Taking my order. I was like recommend a coffee. He was like try the horse shot. A cold brew. This is awful. There’s no flavor a large. It’s basically a small I ordered the Lox bagel It’s just cream cheese, a bagel seasoning and a piece of salmon cold it took them 25+ minutes to make that I would never come back here. Everything was awful. Don’t recommend.
I cannot recommend Porchlight enough! I have become a frequent flyer— no seriously— twice a dad visits. I love the convenience of their online ordering in the morning and their great cafe space for lunch. There is no wrong answer when it comes to their variety of flavors for your lattes. Truly a skillfully crafted coffee menu along with flavor-packed food options. My absolute favorite menu item is their harvest Cobb salad. I CAN’T GET ENOUGH! Drinks that are memorable and experiences in and of themselves. Beautiful, open space to breathe and relax. Truly a restful, detailed and very well done shop.

Porchlight Coffee Co. is a welcoming cafe with a high rating for LGBTQAI+ customers. The medium roast and cold brew are very good, and the small kitchen offers tasty lunchtime snacks. The pastry section is delicious, and there are private party rooms available. The baristas are skilled at creating perfect cups of coffee, catering to dietary restrictions with non-dairy milk options. This hipster vibe cafe has excellent coffee and food, perfect for studying or hanging out. Customers appreciate the high-quality coffee, fun seasonal flavors, and affordable food. The atmosphere is friendly, with many regulars giving warm welcomes and smiles, making visitors feel at home. However, the cafe is located next to a bus stop, so sometimes interesting folks come in to sit while waiting for the bus, and there have been rare instances of approached for money. Customers advise not leaving belongings unattended due to the area. The cafe is set in an old building with a somewhat dark interior and cooler ambiance, but the coffee's great notes, like berry, stand out. There is ample seating and parking, although visitors should be mindful of their surroundings outside. Overall, Porchlight Coffee Co. remains a favorite neighborhood coffee shop in Akron for students and coffee lovers alike.
