“We had Huston’s cater the food for my Wedding and WOW! Everything tasted amazing! We literally only had 3 pieces of fried chicken left at the end. I’m picky about mashed potatoes and they were probably my favorite of the night! I highly recommend them for any event big or small. They are so accommodating and there isn’t much they can’t make for you. We did fried chicken, beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, salad, dinner rolls, green beans, Mac and cheese as well as fruit and veggie trays for appetizers and not once did they hesitate with being able to do serve it all. I can’t thank Deb and her team enough for preparing such a great meal for the day!!!“

“PIZZA!!! They closed for a while a couple years back, we were there the day they reopened for the pizza. The best, and our favorite. We also like the wings, burgers, and quasadias.Kid-friendliness: It's a bar that serves food, so not exactly kid friendly, but kids aren't out of place either.Parking: There can be limited parking, it is all street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: It has a ramp, but the entry and layout isn't wheelchair friendly. Restrooms are not even close to ADA either.“

“Food was great, service was exceptional. Very down home atmosphere. I had the loaded home fries which were delicious. Coffee was great too. Very creepy that there was a man in there with a gun in his holster, but that's just me. I don't like to be in the vicinity of guns. Can't hold it against this establishment though since it is erroneously legal in this state.“

“My wife and I are very picky about our restaurants. This place is AMAZING! The decor was fantastic! Even down to the smallest details. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and she got the taco burger. This was the best Reuben I have EVER had. I have had many from different places. She said the Taco burger was incredible. The meat they used was very good and a very large patty. The fries were hand cut and excellent! We really don’t endorse many restaurants (again, because we are picky). The only bad part of this visit was the fact that we were the only customers there. Makes me sad. We were there on a Saturday at about 2:00. If people don’t fill these great places up, they will never stay here. That would be a shame!“

“Had a spontaneous stop at Merchant House tonight- and they are not one of my cc clients. Our server, Tiffani was great, our food was fantastic and instead of my normal Guiness I ordered a "sour, red lager" that was ideal for me. Pam had the brisket Philly and loved it. I had a hot Nashville honey sandwich and was blown away. Neither of us are big fry folks, but the garlic, parmesan waffle fries were top shelf.“

“It's just ok. If I pass through this town again, I won't be stopping here.It was fast. They didn't have things shown on the menu. The best part of the sandwich was the bun. The meat is ok, nothing "wow" about it.I know it's somewhat of a local favorite or legend, but I don't get it.“
“Today was my first time at Sloopy's to hear live music by Steve Lewis on the patio. Atmosphere was great! I ordered chicken chunks with my choice of 3 sauce that I got on the side. I was not disappointed in the flavor of the sauces and was extremely surprised at the pretty good size of the chicken chunks. The breading was good and tender all white meat. Highly recommend. I'm more picky when it comes to cheese sticks so, even though they were filling, they weren't my personal favorite. Also would like to mention that it was very reasonably priced. The waitress was very nice and I noticed that she tried her best to care for all the customers as best she could for as busy as it was both inside and outside the establishment. The live entertainment was just the icing on the cake to a beautiful outdoor evening. Dinner and live music on the patio on a beautiful night, what more could you ask for? Definitely will be back to try more food that I have heard so much about from others.“

“An older place still serves it up for seniors and working people in town..The owner is there, I don’t know them, and the waitress is the hardest working person there! She knows everyone and is very attentive and kind to the customers.Has a salad bar, very good, and breakfast as well. The strangest thing to me is the TV IS ALWAYS ON SOME GAME SHOW OR SOAP OPERA, I don’t know why, and it is a bit loud. I try to sit as far back as possible..“

“It's a tavern, but a really nice tavern. The waitress was fantastic. She handled our group of 11 quite well. I loved the rueben platter. The heat was warm (it was January). The place is relatively new and clean. Wife and I definitely will be back!!“

“This venue is a golf course club house. We were there for a wedding rehearsal dinner and it was fine for a large group. The food was decent, with the prime beef ribs being especially very good. Portions were huge. The place was clean and neat; well kept. The only negative was that it was loud inside and we could have used a sound system for announcing and speeches.Kid-friendliness: It was an adult dinner party, but there were quite a few kids there. They seemed to be happy, in general. However, the noise level was very high which seemed to be a problem for several of the kids.Parking: Parking was adequate at the restaurant, however the private road leading in was basically a single lane and I, and a passing car, both had to move partly onto the lawn in order to pass. Heading back at night was a bit scary because of no lighting, windy road, and a very narrow bridge crossing on that road.Wheelchair accessibility: Very good ♿ accessibility.“
“What a great find in North Lewisburg! Came all the way from Columbus and it was worth the drive.standout dishes- Brisket, Mac and cheese, jalapeño cornbread and that sweet potato pudding is definitely smack yo mama good! I'll definitely be back. Great staff here also. Fantastic experience!“

“We came in the morning after a tornado came through the nearby area. Their computer system was down, and they had no cook. Yet they still opened, I've seen other places close when they didn't have a computer system. Patty and Sharon did a great job serving tables. I don't know who stepped up to cook, but they did a good job. I hope corporate takes the time to recognize the morning crew that worked on March 15. They did a stellar job!“

“This is a cool little diner in Darke Co Ohio. People come from all around the ajoining counties to have breakfast on weekends and that good ole fashion country cookin thru the week. I went to high school near-by and felt right at home. The food reminded of the kind of food that was so commom 40 years ago. The atmosphere is Country. St Rte 571 is one of the quiet roads in the farm belt, scenic and beautiful. Leaving I saw an American Eagle within a hunderd feet of the roadway in what had been a cornfield this past summer. The eagle was having fresh rabbit. I had just had the pancake with eggs, hash browns, and coffee, sausage all locally sourced and fresh from scratch. Everyone there is friendly. The service is great. And the experience leaves a wonderful memory.“
