5 Best Bar & Grill in Athens

“Stumbled upon this place while visiting Athens and so glad we did! The atmosphere is cozy, eclectic and fun bar with such cool vibes! The food was definitely not your typical bar food! More like something you'd get in an upscale restaurant. We had the mushroom ravioli and it was unbelievable! All the staff were friendly and very attentive. Cocktails were very well crafted and balanced. 100% recommend and can't wait to go back for some live music!“

And, lemme tell ya folks, I ain't takin' bout a Seattle grunge band...ya heard?I'm wildly speculating here, but Mel's is quite likely the proverbial oasis that Garth Brooks wanted to slip on down to. Moreover, there's an abundance of friends lounging at Mel's quaint tavern and outdoor veranda, but this ain't no low place, boy howdy.Get it together people. “My first time visiting Broneys, and they had a burger deal I couldn't pass up. Burger and fries were good, I'm relatively easy to please. I may try their chips or onion rings next time, it is nice to have options. The burger was way better than any fast food place. I was there at quiet time, I admittedly go uptown more when school is not in session.“
