“This is my favorite place to go eat out on buckeye lake! Food is always great! Drinks are Nicee to.?THE HOUSE SAUCE is to die for on my favorite meal, The Boos Bacon cheeseburger and fries? I really love the vibes and atmosphere this place Has!! Definitely a MUST GO! They have live shows on some nights and a cute little dance floor to complete the experience! The large bars with multiple bartenders and staff who were very friendly and welcoming make it all around Good time!Parking: There is a lot parking available but they are a very busy place at times.Kid-friendliness: Kids were allowed as it is a family friendly place. They have a lot of seating areas with tables and a portion is covered by the patios.“
“I wasn’t sure what to expect. A friend of mine was playing guitar there tonight named Bob Muller. I went there to support his performance which lived up to our expectations. We were genuinely surprised by what a great little place the beach house is. It has a great atmosphere friendly and surprisingly excellent burgers. To our surprise it was burger night. You can’t beat a half pound burger and fries for $8.50 on Thursdays. the beer was cold the staff was friendly, I’m not sure how much better it gets than that for a local bar! If you’re out in the Buckeye Lake area, it’s definitely worth a try. We will be back soon!“
“Great experience love the food especially the meatloaf, also green beans and mac and cheese are amazing. Dont get me started on the cheesecake it is AMAZING!!! The customer service is great and everyone makes you feel comfortable like family. We will be back many more times cant wait to try all the different menu options. I love that their is a lot of different menu items if your trying to eat healthy it is not an issue and you can choose multiple different things.“
“My husband and I had an amazing time here. We finally were able to have a date night after having our son and everything about this place was wonderful. Our server, Cate, was GREAT! So sweet and so nice. Recommended several nice dishes. Food was fantastic, service was equally as good, atmosphere was great. Recommend this place for anybody!“
“Pretzel bites seemed a bit bland. Deep fried pepperoni could've cooked a bit longer, was not very crunchy. Bologna sandwich was fantastic with the caramelized onions, tomatoe, lettuce, cheese and mayo. White Cheddar Mac'N'Cheese very flavorful and hot to the last bite. Pizza sub was not horrible, but also seemed bland. Fries were good. First time here, overall a great experience, will be back to test the vast menu!“
“The Local is by far one of the best Pubs in the Heath and Newark area Mitch and staff are friendly and welcoming.the beer is cold and plentiful...be sure to mention me ... probably won't do you any good but hey you tried....but be sure to stop by if you are in the neighborhood.“
“Friendly staff, has decent selection of beer and liquor, only thing I'd add is drink specials or a drink menu. I think it would help alot. But great food and atmosphere. “I really enjoy visiting Copper Penny..But on the last visit, which was on annual GDO (girls day out on the lake), the staff did not seem very organized. I ordered the bone-in wings; they tasted good but were a little overdone.Parking: Boat parking too!“
