“I don’t usually write restaurant reviews, but In Forno is an exception — because I genuinely believe they serve the best Neapolitan pizzas in Cleveland. I’ve been a loyal patron of this little gem in Avon for nearly a decade, and every single visit has left me with a full stomach and a happy heart. For years, George and Elizabeth worked their magic behind the counter, crafting pizzas that transported you straight to Naples. This summer, they passed their beloved oven — and their legacy — to Chris and Nicki, the new owners, as they embarked on new culinary adventures. When I dined there this week for the first time under the new ownership, I’ll admit, I was curious (and a bit nervous) to see if anything had changed. I’m thrilled to report that Chris and Nicki have beautifully carried the torch forward. The menu and recipes remain intact, and the pies are every bit as divine as ever. My go-tos are the Celeste, Burrata, and Picante Quattro Formaggi — each a masterpiece in its own right. But here’s a secret: the best pizza isn’t even on the menu. Do yourself a favor — grab a seat by the chef's table, order a drink, and ask him to surprise you with something special. Watching that wood-fired oven at work while your pizza takes shape is pure culinary theatre. I often joke that if I had to choose my last meal on earth, it would be at In Forno. Judging by the smiles and overheard conversations from other diners, I’m not the only one who feels that way. Chris and Nicki have done more than take over — they’ve honored what George and Elizabeth built, ensuring that every bite still tastes like tradition, passion, and perfection. So gather your friends and family, and head to In Forno for a slice of joy, a dash of nostalgia, and the best wood-fired pizza you’ll find anywhere in town.”

“Husband and I love Mitchell’s. Diverse flavors that all taste good. Literally have not tried one ice cream that didn’t taste as described. I’ve expanded my “regular “ ice cream order because it’s so hard to choose everyone we go in. Love that they do seasonal flavors. Workers are always polite and helpful.”

“Black Key coffee is a great unique coffee shop which thrives on excellent roasts and genuine connection. The owners are the operators here and their cheerful and friendly service make the coffee experience a pleasant one.”

“KEC is awesome. We have only recently discovered them in the past few months but they're a gem.

We've had their cupcakes -- and they're good. But where they really shine (in my opinion) are in the sugar cookie designs. Having said that, here's a warning: get there early!! Especially on Saturdays -- like before noon.

Otherwise you'll risk the sugar cookies being sold out -- and that's a bummer 😕

Anyway, prices are also reasonable. I haven't actually figured out what they are for cakes vs cookies (nor have I cared that much to try). But in general, we get 4-5 items and it's around $20.”

“We ordered a large Extreme Supreme. The toppings were fresh, the crust was melt in your mouth cooked to perfection, and the extra cheese was just right. We usually order extra sauce at other places but decided not to at Master P and glad we didn’t. The amount of ingredients to crust ratio was on point. We took our leftovers home and ate them cold and the pizza was still bangin’ 😎. It was my first time enjoying a Master P pizza and I will most definitely be back.”

Prices were ok. Difficult to keep trash area clean with all that sauce. I was there late in the day and must have been busy!”

“I attended a baby shower here and the room was spacious with a beautiful view of the outdoor botanical gardens thru glass walls. The indoor plant conservatory was nearby and it's so pretty, even in dreary weather! You can tell the plants and fish are well cared for. Conservatory staff are really nice and the small gift shop has cute seasonal and butterfly knick knacks. Both the Orchid Room, indoor and outdoor gardens, and restrooms are all accessible for wheelchair users. The Orchid Room has a kitchen area for cooking and heating up food for big gatherings. If you reserve the Orchid Room, the usual $2 fee per person to see the indoor gardens is waived for your guests who attend which was really nice.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are smooth walkways to both indoor and outdoor gardens and no stairs. The Orchid Room, gift shop, and restrooms have flat flooring and disabled restroom stalls. Easily accessible for wheelchair users!”

“I have been to this Jersey Mike’s multiple times and the enthusiasm and passion is infectious.
Heather, Alivia, Jess, Janaeda are always welcoming and friendly and they have smiles on their faces! I enjoy going to a place where people are happy you are there and want you to have a good experience.

I’ve been to other Jersey Mike’s but in my opinion this store has the best customer service and staff that truly care. Hi Highly recommend them! 😊”

“Our church Dinner Group had a wonderful meal at Veranda this week. The Tomahawk was a big favorite! All 22 of us ate on the patio and our waitress was exceptional getting meals out and taking care of our bills in a timely, friendly manner.”

“I live near Vermilion . I called this deli for assistance. My Aunt just died. I wanted to send her family food to ease their daily burden during this difficult time. This deli showed up and put out. They are compassionate understanding and showed up for my family. My family expressed to me how delicious everything was. If you are in need during a family life event you should consider this establishment. They truly, went out of their way to accommodate my family during a time of grief.”

“Pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's a bit neutered compared to other TG properties, but it's certainly a great place to visit. The painted-on targets didn't bother me in the slightest. I do agree that the tees are too short. The ball dispensing speed and overall bay technology here are better than past visits elsewhere...not sure if these improvements were also made to existing locations. Service, food, and drinks were great. Appreciated the bay heaters on a cold night...would visit in any temperature.”

“We had a great dinner out last night at Fujiyama Steak House at one of their hibachi tables. It is always great to be entertained by the cook making our food on the hibachi. They even played Happy Birthday for our daughter, and had her bang the birthday gong! We all had a great time!”

“I went to this LongHorn in Avon at the beginning of the week. I just wanted to relay my appreciation for the manager there and the staff for going out of their way to fix my steak multiple times. I wasn’t judged or given an attitude for my sensory issues and the management was incredibly understanding and apologetic. I think that had been one the best experiences I’ve had where I wasn’t made to feel bad for bringing up that my food wasn’t made correctly. There was some kind of miscommunication but they went out of their way to remedy that and be accommodating and understanding. Thank you for being kind.

Overall a very pleasant experience and very accommodating to those with Autism or other sensory issues. They could use a few table lights though as it was a bit hard to see in the dining room.”

“I had the "sweet & spicy chicken" bowl. The spicy chicken and Gochujang sauce lived up to the name "spicy". It was very hot and actually too hot for me. I typically enjoy spicy food but this was too far for my preference. My face was tingling, sweat under my eyes and top of my head, and was told my face had splotches of red. I think the chicken was spicy enough and probably would have been fine but the Gochujang sauce was too much. 🌶🌶🌶🔥🥵”
