“Best and most consistently fun dancey club I’ve found in Cleveland, and honestly competes well with bigger venues in bigger cities. They bring in a lott of killer djs, both local to Cleveland and from all over the world, and they host a variety of cool local events that aren’t just the house djs that initially brought me in. Very fun, pretty bisexual vibe. It’s not explicitly a queer club, but my pals and I think of it as a bi bar and love it for that. They’re doing something so right here… the energy every time I’ve been has just been so playful and fun, and I always meet great people here. I met one of my best friends dancing here a few years ago and am writing this review with heartfelt appreciation from Movement weekend with that friend in Detroit now. I love this place. Great service with sweet, caring staff who really set the tone for the place. They also have good non-alcoholic options. Thanks for keeping a water station near the bar, absolutely crucial harm reduction/safely measure that all bars should be required to have. “I had never been to Black Forest before - no reason, just hadn't. But when they placed 3rd in the Best Burger contest last week, I had to check it out. Met the mighty Francis McGarry for a sales meeting and dinner. They were NOT lying about the burger - FANtastic. Staff were friendly and the owner stopped by and chatted. Bingo in the next room had the place packed, but it wasn't loud - they just sounded like they were having a blast. I Highly Recommend Black Forest for great food, and great people. “I went here to enjoy a night out with staff and it was the perfect little bar that we needed. The staff was so friendly and great listeners. I ordered a tequila sunrise and a prime rib philly steak sub with fries and mozzarella sticks. I absolutely loved both! The mozzarella sticks are topped with parmesan cheese and were cooked just right. This is a great place for a quick bite to eat and drink. The Dj was also full of life and was very entertaining ? The bartender was friendly enough and the drink selections sounded surprisingly complex and sophisticated. I tried a couple and they were both quite good. A far more high end cocktail stop than what we expected. We didn't get a chance to try out their food offerings. Next time.“

Angie greeted us yesterday as we were waiting on a take out food order from next door @ Tiffany's Pizza & Grinders.
We had a fun time in our short visit that we were compelled to join today's activity as a Fund Raiser to Benefit Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter. & St. Jude's.
Today Angie hosted an "Ethnic Food Cook Off"
Buffet style with Friends old and new.
A great atmosphere where everyone welcomes you.
I recommend a stop in for a Drink and to make a new Friend.
Edit, continuation update, The Browns are winning and I am now enjoying a Perfect Grey Goose & Tonic with dbl. Lime poured by my new Favorite Tenderbar, Tonya.
A drink with the perfect balance. Not many times has it been this Good.

“The meal with Mama Laura and server Tae was an incredible experience. You often hear of the chefs coming to the table talking with the patrons, Mama Laura was very personable and engaging. Server Tae instantly earned a generous tip by attending to us within minutes of us being seated. He showed genuine concern for our dining and spirits needs. I highly recommend this establishment for the excellent 'home cooked' soul food and customer service. You will not be disappointed. Also try the to go menu next door.“
