Original restaurant was in Northfield, then they opened one in Hudson, and now in Brecksville; owners Joe and Debbie are at the Brecksville location and will always greet you with a friendly smile, and 'sit anywhere you'd like'. Simple menu, doesn't really change, so you know what you're getting... pizza, Italian sausage sandwich, Italian sub sandwich, garlic bread with or without cheese, salad with or without cheese, double salad with or without cheese, various drink choices. “I haven't been here in a few years. I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful our experience was at Burntwood. The happy hour appetizers were only $8 and the food was plentiful (big portions). “Decided to try this place. It doesn't look like much from the outside but you have to go inside and it is such a cute small restaurant. We were seated in the back room and our server was really nice and knowledgeable about both the food and drinks menu. We ordered a few drinks, all were so cute and fancy. Had a few appetizisers and the elk burger. Also decided to try the kitchen snack, which our server said it's different every time and for each table - we got chicken and waffles and were totally surprised, we weren't expecting that for a snack. “I am truly impressed with this establishment. We went for a late lunch on a Tuesday and it was pretty empty. The food was great and the service was prompt, friendly and polite. The place is HUGE. There are a few large dining rooms and a large central bar area. There is also a large outdoor patio and a huge indoor game room with a pool table, skeeball, bowling lanes and much more. They have trivia at 7pm Tuesdays. We plan on returning on another Tuesday for trivia. I look forward to playing in their game room too.“

I must say that the restaurant was beautifully decor’d with a pleasant atmosphere, soft music, food was delicious, and the service was excellent! Well, it didn’t start off that way. It took about 8-10 minutes to even be noticed and get a glass of water. It happens, I guess. Upon noticing their mistake, I was catered to throughout my visit to ensure I was completely satisfied … and I was! The owner stopped by several times and even offered a glass of good French wine as an apology but I hospitable declined … I was still the clock per se. The waitress was very apologetic, nice, and friendly. If you’re in for a great meal and great people to serve you … please stop by! I wish I’d taken pics of the food, it was delicious. The burger (sourced from Whiteys in Richfield)is a generous half pound and cooked to perfection. Fun appetizers like the Tater Kegs (tots stuffed with buffalo chicken) and the Parma Wings, (mini pierogi tossed in your choice of several different wing sauces) are a fun shareable. The Wednesday/Friday fish fry is available year round and is delicious. Served with a side of fries and coleslaw it really hit the spot. For the more health conscious you can get a beautiful veggie plate or choose from a myriad of salads and grilled chicken.“

“I'm from down South and I came up on vacation. It's a hood spot with some older people, but it's chill. I didn't get food but when I walked in my lights were still on, the security told me when they didn't go off after a few minutes. “I had ordered my burger medium rare. When it came out it was rare IMO. So I sent it back. Francesca, our server couldn’t have been nicer about it. I had taken two bites before I decided I just couldn’t do it. I told her to nuke it a minute and it would be perfect. They completely redid the burger, bringing a new one out. I couldn’t believe they did that. A lot of places just send you the same product out, and usually overcooked. ?. Not in this case. Francesca couldn’t have been nicer and more attentive. The burger and fries were awesome. You could tell it was made from fresh ground beef and not some preformed frozen patties. The toppings were all fresh and packed high. I had to mash the heck out of it to get it in my mouth. The fries were awesome as well. Done just right. My wife’s burger was cooked to perfection. (She likes well done) and she had hush puppies which were very tasty. I had a cup of clam chowder to try and it too was exceptional. Large chucks of clams in a super tasty broth with celery and carrot. I highly recommend stopping by and trying them for yourself. We will stop by anytime we are close.“

The food was absolutely amazing. I really want to try and make this a weekly thing to go here and eat. The girls working behind the bar was so nice and welcoming. The cook was the best. They literally stayed open for our queer hang post-Monday night community bike ride.We made friends with the fantastically lovely bartender who stayed open for us (Deajah). They were chill about us bringing in some pizza and even have suggestions and a connection for where to get it. There are games to play (like jenga) and a pool table.
