“Thankfully they were open late because we needed somewhere moderately priced with decent food to take my brother out for a birthday dinner. The food was a B-, service could have definitely been better and the atmosphere was average. Drinks could improve and steaks ordered were reasonable. Would go back but more so thankful for the late hours!“

“From a city 2 hours away but was able to experience Frederick’s today. From start to finish everything was A1 The atmosphere begging you in. The service was top-notch and when the food came out, oh my. I had the red snapper and was blown away. The presentation of the plate of eye catching. The taste of food was mouthwatering good. I pierced the fish with macaroni and cheese and yams. After takes the macaroni and cheese, I ordered some to go. I have the smoked old-fashioned and it was one of the best that I’ve had in a long time. I impression was I’m not sure how I got such a great meal at a value price. I definitely will be back along with encouraging anyone to experience this wonderful restaurant“

“My 1st time at Bookers, very nice atmosphere n a great vibe, I loved the Vibe Band!! I ordered 2 perch sandwiches which were great as well!! I truly enjoyed myself, choosing Bookers has restored my faith in goin out. It’s very close to home as well! Being in guest service for over 30 years I was super impressed with the servers greeting guests as they walked in the door 5. ⭐️’s from me and great job!! I’ll certainly be back!!😃😃“

“tucker’s haves been around for a very long time. its a great place for people who loves to wear graham crackers colored steve harvey suits. weekends are great because they have karaoke and they do not sell food. the bar is cash only but it is a great place to be!

“I had never been to Black Forest before - no reason, just hadn't. But when they placed 3rd in the Best Burger contest last week, I had to check it out. Met the mighty Francis McGarry for a sales meeting and dinner. They were NOT lying about the burger - FANtastic. Staff were friendly and the owner stopped by and chatted. Bingo in the next room had the place packed, but it wasn't loud - they just sounded like they were having a blast. I Highly Recommend Black Forest for great food, and great people. Definitely 5 stars🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖“

“Used to be Z&S Lounge when we were kids, still same cozy corner bar atmosphere. Great service, plenty of seating with a large side room if you want to host a special event or possibly rent space for a birthday party or other celebration. Plenty of parking in back“

“It was my birthday and I ordered shrimp and grits online…when I arrived the order had not come through and my food was not started or done. The bartender was very accommodating, offering me a mimosa on the house that was EXCELLENT! And an experience that started bad turned into one of the best! And the shrimp and grits were AMAZING! I’ll definitely be back!“
