6 Best Chicken Wings near Bellefontaine

“First time being back since they first open. The staff was great got seated right away then the waiter was right there taking drink orders. I ordered wings and garlic parm fries. Wife got the burger with the pulled pork on it. everything came out hot and fresh with great taste. There was a couple downside my wings came out needing a life jacket way to much sauce. Plus for being a sit down restaurant it would of been nice to have actual silverware instead of pre packaged plastic silverware. Will definitely be back.“

“Probably the best fried chicken I've ever had in any restaurant. The potato salad and baked beans were also fantastic. Biscuits were perfect. I ordered one plate to eat there to test it. Then ordered another to go for breakfast the next day (which incidentally was also fantastic cold!). The only thing was the iced tea urns aren't being cleaned as thoroughly as they should. It wasn't bad, just needed some improvement. This restaurant will be a regular on that run now (I'm an over-the-road trucker). There is currently truck parking in the dirt lot next door. The people inside were great. They seemed to enjoy working with the public.“

“Most of the time it's pretty okay. 10% of the time they tell you to order ahead for a bucket of chicken. Never heard a KFC tell me this.. I don't know if it has happened in other locations, but this has happened 3 times to me in Bellefontaine. My guess is the management.“

“Great service. Nice people on the phone. Got our order jacked up over the phone but burning that made us want to jump off a bridge. We went to go eat in the dining room but all the chairs were put up and they said we could eat inside but it didn't feel very welcoming to us.“

“Great customer service the night of 7/27 put an order in very late close to closing time and was treated kindly by the lovely gal taking carryout payments. Their gluten free crust tastes Iike candy!!! And my boyfriend was very happy with his meatzah!!

“Stopped in for breakfast while traveling through town. I was cheerfully greeted and seated immediately. At 8 AM you can pick from the full menu.
I selected the veggie omelette and potatoes covered with grilled onions. I also selected the sourdough toast.
What I did not expect was the portion size. This veggie omelette was enormous. If you hear about a shortage of cheese it is because it’s all in my omelette!
The omelette was the size of a rolled up Sunday paper. It’s tough to get a veggie omelette right and this kitchen delivered perfect perfection.
Those potatoes and onions! I didn’t leave any of those on the plate.
The sourdough toast and the jelly in those little medicine cups was just perfect.

Clearly, Lulu’s is a local’s favorite and there is a reason why. The food is fresh, the service attentive, the atmosphere inviting, and the food is remarkable.

Highly recommended.
