“Stopped in on my way to MI office! They are really nice and help make recommendations if you get lost looking at the menu, like indecisive moi! The portions are substantial - just 1 shawarma filled me up without any sides - and the grilled chicken was bursting with flavor. I look forward to stopping in again sometime and trying something else.”

“My wife and I decided to eat here after going to a haunted house. We sat down and looked over the menu and chose the baked potato pizza and garlic fingers. I like trying unusual pizza flavors and was not disappointed! I went to the counter to order and the cashier apologized for not taking our order at our table, they were just coming down from a large group. I told her not to worry, we weren't from BG and it was our first time at the restaurant and didn't know what to expect. They brought out the garlic fingers first, about 10 min after putting our order in, and they were fantastic! Their crust is light and fluffy and the crunch was perfect! We would definitely drive an hour to eat here again.”

Campus Quarters 107 State St, Bowling Green Sports Bar • $

“Campus Quarters is the perfect bar for those who want to hang out and have a good time but don’t want to deal with the craziness of clubs. My husband and I enjoyed Campus Quarters so much in college and after that we had our group of friends meet up there after our wedding and reception; it was the perfect, relaxed atmosphere after a long, exhausting day. With arcade basketball, corn hole, darts, pool, sports on the tvs, and now the outside area with beer pong, it was the perfect place to end our special day! Campus Quarters is by far the best hang out spot in Bowling Green, Ohio.”

I got my order from a worker named big fart. Bug fat is an extremely handsome man and it taks all my power to not leap over the glass and smooch him on the lips. The worker named jamie is alright too, I suppose. Jamie told me to go in the back to get my order but when I did he stole my kidneys and took my wallet. “If you’re anywhere near Bowling Green, you’ve gotta stop by Mr. Spots. This place absolutely delivers when it comes to cheesesteaks — easily one of the best I’ve had outside of Philly. The meat’s juicy, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the roll is legit (they ship them in from Philly, which says a lot).

The fries were hot and crispy, just how they should be, and they’ve got a solid beer selection on tap to wash it all down. Chill spot, no frills — just good food done right. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town.”

Papa Johns Pizza 425 E Wooster St, Bowling Green Pizza • $

“🍕🇮🇹🍅🧄🧀🍂

Review: Papa John's

The visit was a mixed bag, but overall, the pizza and the experience held up!

🔎 The Situation:
A dear friend from afar surprised me with a pizza as a thoughtful gesture during a tough time. However, I couldn’t make it to the store within the allotted pickup window. I completely understand that this policy ensures only fresh, delicious food for customers, though I do hope the unused pie was donated or eaten instead of wasted.

💡 The In-Store Experience:
When I arrived, the proprietor—who I believe owns the shop—was curt and seemed unaware of my order. Thankfully, the manager I had spoken to earlier stepped in to clarify and saved the day. She quickly informed me my fresh pizza was about to go in the oven. Big points to the manager for professionalism and attention to detail!

🍕 The Product:
Papa John's remains a standout in the pizza world. The dough, with its perfect balance of fluffiness and chew, and the subtly sweet tomato sauce never fail to hit the spot. And let’s be real—any competitor that doesn’t include garlic butter and a pepperoncini in the box is just playing catch-up.

🏡 Delivery Thoughts:
Though Papa John’s doesn’t deliver to my area, which is far from rural, this lack of service keeps it a special treat. Still, corporate, you’re leaving money on the table—there’s a white-collar hub in Jackson waiting for those delivery zones to expand!

👍 Verdict:
The food and the female manager’s professionalism won me over. No notes other than this: keep being consistent and delicious. I’ll gladly patronize again, even if I have to pick up in person.

🍕🇮🇹🍅🧄🧀🍂”

Buffalo Wild Wings 1550 E Wooster St, Bowling Green Chicken Wings • $

“Food was good, we got the unlimited wings, but it took 20-30 minutes between each round. Waitress was very nice. The music was a bit loud though, gave me quite the headache”

“My first time (yeah, I know what took so long) because I live in a remote area. First impression was its a Mexican 'subway'. After eating though I wish there was one within 50 miles, I'd make a reason to go.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy getting in but a little tight inside.”

“The Old Town Buffett hosted a gathering for my family after my father's passing. This was one of his favorite restaurants. They could easily fit our group size. The food was fresh and delicious! The staff was compassionate, friendly, and efficient. We dine here often for the wonderful food and service. Thank you Old Town Buffett for accommodating us. Rally's 1005 N Main St, Bowling Green Fast Food • $

“Recently, this location had lost a manager. What amazed me most is that the employees stepped in to keep this place running smoothly. The staff have still been pleasant to work with as well. That said, I always have a good meal when I stop at this rallys. It may take a bit, but that's okay. Foods fresh, fries are better. Can't complain. Well done to those who stuck it out, yall are the real ones.”

Wendy's 1504 E Wooster St, Bowling Green Fast Food • $

“Wendy's on E.Wooster, BG is terrible. No customer service skills, poor food. Baconator fries were cold, whimpey, tough. Chili was only half full and slopped all over container and bag. No receipt given and cashier had trouble giving change back. One of the poorest Wendys around. Called manager, he had no comment or didn't he say sorry for poor experience.”
