“Really good food n cozy place however service was poor. Our waitress was very rude n even yelled at us when ordering, she didn’t come check in nor did she fill our drinks and was snotty the whole time. At the end we did not leave her a tip because a tip is earned it’s a privilege not a requirement. When leaving she came to our vehicles to yell at me n my buddies for not tipping again if you do your job you get a tip. She stated she only makes $5/hr n relies on those tips and once again I will say do your job and you will be tipped generously. Orrrr get a better job:) again the food was good but service was very poor“

“Visiting from Maryland, and read good reviews about Danspot. Glad we came. Dinner was fantastic. I had the Shrimp Piccatta, and my wife had Pipette pesto pasta with chicken. Both were outstanding. And our server Jake, was wonderful. Friendly and attentive. If you're in the area of the MGM Northfield, be sure to stop at Danspot. You will be glad you did.“

“(Last visited September 20, 2023.) Hanging out in Cleveland, OH on business and it's #WingWednesday! So I did some searching on Yelp to see who's got the best in the area! A place called Characters Bar & Grill kept coming up. So here's how things went!\n\nAtmosphere/Appearance: This place is like... at the EDGE of Cleveland's city limits. Lol. Brookpark Road or something. Once I pulled up it just felt like a nice, neighborhood spot! It does have a private parking lot, big outdoor section (where we sat) and plenty of space on the inside. It's a traditional setup. TVs everywhere, random swag and decor all throughout, plenty of high-top tables for seating and a big bar rail. The energy was lively and the music was so random. Lol. If you've been, you know what I mean.\n\nService: I can't remember the name of who took care of us, but she was funny, sweet and just made sure we had everything that we needed. \n\nFood: While here I was able to try a few wings, so let's begin. First up were the Mike's Sweet Island Heat. For the record, if you order 10 wings, you can split them into 2-5s for an extra $1.00 if you want separate flavors. Also, on the menu there are 3 "types" of sauces that they offer. The first kind are Buffalo based sauces, the 2nd are barbecue based sauces and the last is "other". Lol. Anyway, these looked amazing, were super saucy and were a decent, seemingly normal size. I got lots of good fruity notes and aromatics as I put the wing to my nose. After tasting the flavors carried through with a bold, fruity, rich flavor. There was good spice and it felt like a chipotle based spice. It was a unique flavor for sure that I hadn't tasted before. Next up was Lenny's Honey Sriracha Teriyaki which is a mouthful of a name, but the flavors showed up! It was a good teriyaki base with citrusy lemon flavors that actually made my lips pucker just a bit. These weren't spicy at all, but it was missing something, I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Next up was Chipotle which I was lead to believe would be the hottest sauce on the menu based on it's placement on the menu, but I was wrong. This one did have some GOOD heat to it. The ingredients were balanced very well that created very bold, rich, hearty, chipotle flavors. I really liked this one. Next up were the Mild Buffalo. These were super saucy, juicy and had a very straightforward traditional Buffalo flavor that had some excellent flavor. The bleu cheese to go with these was a creamy, mild sauce that would cool your mouth down if you can't handle the spice. Next up was the XXX Buffalo which is actually the hottest sauce on the menu. The sauce was a bit watery which is a dead giveaway that it wouldn't be as spicy as it claims to be. It was still delicious, but the spice took a while to kick in, but it's nothing to write home about. It was like a kicked up Buffalo.\n\nValue: It's a sports bar, so the food won't be terrible expensive. I was there on Wednesday and wings were $1.00 each. Not bad at all considering how expensive I've see some. They even had $5.00 steaks this night, but I can only imagine them being a Salisbury steak or something. Lol.\n\nIn conclusion, I had a blast here. The food was great, the people are awesome, I felt welcomed and it just felt like a good place to hang out! I look forward to returning and trying some more flavors!“

“Love this place! Always a great atmosphere with a family feel. The bar offers occasional extras like contests, live music and just fun people! The food is beyond yummy!! The cook offers great twists on regular dishes and the prices are reasonable. Check the place out!! Well worth the stop!!! Be sure to say hi to Moose if he's there when you stop.“

“Visited Gen's 176 for the first time this evening. It may not look like much from the outside but the place is clean and the food is really good. They have a nice size menu with a variety of choices. The pierogi are large and filled with potato and cheese (they also have other varieties). My companion had a mushroom burger. It was a 1/2 pound with lots of toppings and the tots that came with were hot and tasty. I had a veggie quesadilla full of cheese, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes (I passed on the black olives). Service was excellent! In all, it was a great, affordable meal. We will be back!“

Today, I had my husband pick me up their classic burger with provolone cheese and it was still just as super warm when he brought it to me at work as if I were to have eaten it there! “We love Spotted Dog food. Always had great service. Tonight the ball was dropped. Took 20 mins to be acknowledge to get a drink(maybe 8 at the bar). Never mind the big sigh and eye roll as we sat down AND still wasn't told Hi. 1 hour for food. okay Its a Friday night we understand. Our fries were soggy a cold. chicken tenders cold. wings cold. It def was sitting up there waiting a while to be brought out. We said something she said it was our fault for going outside for 5 mins. We know the difference between food sitting for awhile before being served. Extremely disappointed. We will be back but maybe when someone else is working.“

“I don't really do bars, but I popped in on a Saturday night to chill with family that was visiting from out-of-town. The DJ was on point, service was decent, and the wings were AMAZING!!! Will I be a regular? No. Will I be back for those wings on a take-out mission? Yes!!!“

“Stopped in to eat after a morning of car shopping. Took my Daughter and her boyfriend on a week day afternoon. Very nice little dinner. Waitress was fantastic. Very friendly and funny to talk with. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Cook even made my pot roast into the exact way I asked. We will definitely be coming back. I wish I remembered the waitresses name. She was one of best waitresses we had in a long time. Owners should be happy to have her as a employee.
