“I don’t write reviews often, but this place absolutely deserves it.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn’t just another coffee shop—it’s part of the community. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of place where you can settle in for a few minutes or a few hours and feel completely at home.
The coffee is consistently excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care, winter, spring, summer and fall! Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup on the go or trying something new off the menu, you can taste the quality. And the owners? Genuinely some of the kindest people you’ll meet. They remember faces, take the time to chat, and make every visit feel personal.
What really stands out is how much heart goes into this place. Supporting a locally owned business like this feels good, especially when they put so much back into the customer experience.

“We just had the best experience at Michael's Bakery. The cheese and apricot folded croissants were delicious, the adorable flower cupcake moist and beautifully decorated, and the bread loaf perfect with our lunch. We went for our son's birthday and the clerk was incredibly kind and professional, and even gave him a cookie for the occasion. We will definitely be back!“

“We moved from the area 7 years ago so we hadn't been in for a long time. We purchased a nut roll, 1 apricot Danish, a pound of nut kolachkis, 2 cupcakes, 1 chocolate bomb, 1 brownie and 2 dozen pierogies. Firs, the good....the apricot Danish was the best I have ever had. My son enjoyed the chocolate bomb.The cupcakes were average and we were definitely expecting more for $4.50 each. The kolachkis are very dry and disappointing. My husband tried 1 bite of the brownie and threw it away. 3 of the 4 sides were rock hard. We haven't tried the pierogies, but I'm hoping they are as good as in years past. Fingers crossed for the nut roll tomorrow morning as well. After spending over $77 we had hoped for a better experience.“

“Nice selection of deli items, ready-to-grab meals, sandwiches, and fresh foods. It’s a busy little place, but it has a nice local market ambiance that makes it enjoyable to browse around. Good variety of meats, baked goods, and prepared foods if you need something quick and convenient. Staff seemed friendly and the store has that classic neighborhood market feel. Parking is convenient and easy as well.“

“It is a bit late but they made my wedding cake. When I say it was perfect I can't not even express how amazing of a job they did. They gave me a Husband and wife donuts topper, had nailed the very specific cake flavor I wanted and made it look so beautiful. I can not praise them enough for this. It made my wedding day even better.“

“My husband and I love coming here for breakfast. The atmosphere is so comfy and the staff are friendly. My husband got the schnitzel breakfast and I got the standard eggs, bacon, potato, toast. “I ordered my cake from here for my baby shower and I was extremely impressed. It was the best cake I’ve ever had in my life. It was chocolate covered strawberries and had candy on top of it. It was amazing! The strawberries were super fresh and the icing was perfect! Everyone at the shower kept commenting on how delicious the cake was and asking where we got it from!“
