“Amazing food and drinks!! It was very authentic to Puerto Rico and so tasty! We cleaned our plates. Definitely try the mofongo and roasted pork! We brought our babies and it was fine because it wasn't terribly busy. If it had been busier it wouldn't be good for a stroller there. Great staff too, they were all so friendly! We will be back for sure and make this a regular stop!“

“I was happily surprised to find the King Tut, Egyptian Street Food truck at my niece’s graduation party! The owners were helpful in explaining the menu and delightful to chat with. “I was not pleased with my acai bowl as it was missing ingredients. I returned with the bowl in hand and was instantly asked if there was an issue as soon as I walked in. The young man behind the counter instantly agreed to remake my bowl. You can't ask for better service than that. I would have witnessed her drink behind the bar with her two friends at the very end, please don't dispute your bill!! in this neighborhood for 30 years and this owner tries to run me out. “My husband and I made reservations for Valentine’s Day for a 5 course meal. We made our selections for each course ahead of time. As you may see in other reviews, this was the first time the restaurant offered this type of service for Valentine’s Day. Our amazing server, Jenn, gave us a heads up that the kitchen was behind.

The food did come out pretty late, but I am still leaving a 5-star review for 4 reasons:

1. The quality of service from our server, Jenn. She was kind, calm, and personable. She kept the wine coming and did a great job of setting our expectations and taking care of us wherever she could.

2. The restaurant’s response to the wait time for food. All of the wine we drank that evening (it was a lot) was fully comped. Then, the restaurant went above and beyond by sending everyone a $50 gift certificate for future use. I don’t think many restaurants would do that.

3. The quality of food when it finally arrived. Yes it took some time to get to our table, but the food was phenomenal! Still dreaming of that filet Oscar. Worth every penny!

4. The wine. Michael Angelo’s has always had amazing wine at an incredible price, and we definitely enjoyed our fair share this particular evening! I can think of a lot worse situations to be in than waiting for a meal with some great wine in the company of my best friend.

Yes there were some hiccups, but we will absolutely be back if they decide to try this type of service again.“
