“Place was packed. Parking awful. Being handicapped I had to walk way too far to enter. Very loud and noisy. Had a big group and had to shout to one another. My BLT was tasty. Service slow but the waitress was running around like crazy. Definitely needed more help. Have been here before and was much better the other times. Won't be bringing our group back here.“

“This was our first experience with ordering from here. Fresh ! Fresh ! Buffalo chicken wraps, 1 with crumble, 1 with ranch and 1 with blue cheese dressing. All came with fries. Fries were good, plenty of ketchup and napkins. Food was hot, wraps were grilled and huge, vegetables inside fresh, chicken was crispy dressing was good. Loved this wrap! Next time I would skip the fries and only order wrap. Too much food. Lol. I also ordered Caesar wrap to try grilled chicken. Not my fav, but if it had shaved parm, and some tomato slices it would be great. Romaine was crunchy and chicken was hot. Just a little plain. Overall I'll say great first experience! New good place to get take out !“

“We were traveling from Cleveland home but were all hungry even before leaving Cleveland. We didn't want to stop anywhere in the direct city for food because you had to pay for parking basically everywhere and every place we did stop someone was walking around person to person begging or even demanding money. So I searched sit down burger restaurants that were on our route home but just outside of city and this place came up. It was perfect! Not far from the aquarium in Cleveland, free parking, right off the highway and it felt very comfortable for myself and family. The food was delicious and they made it to serve. I definitely recommend this place.“

“In Peninsula for the Ramp Up Festival with friends. Decided to stop here for lunch. They have a good selection of craft beers. I ordered a mushroon bacon burger with onion rings. Burger tasted good but was a bit dry. Ordered medium and got well done so it was not juicy how I like them. Onion rings were crispy and good. They had a special ramp flavored IPA on tap, a very unusual beer with a garlicky finish. Our server was excellent today. Patio seating was nice on a sunny day.“

“Characters has been around for a long time and for good reason! It is solid American bar food at an exceptional price point. On Wednesdays they have a 6 oz sirloin steak for $5.99! If that isn't motivation enough to get you down there, let me tell you about their wings. They are pretty damn good! The wing night isn't as good of a deal as it once was. I believe they are $1 a wing.“

“This negative review is purely down to repeatedly bad service from one particular individual. Its a shame as we love the food, and the staff are mostly really nice, especially the Irish guy, he's a great dude! And very very funny/ friendly. This is the third time we have come here while this particular bar lady is working, and she is rude, dismissive, and flat out ignores you no matter how much you try to talk to her for service. Our last two visits she's just standing at the bar chatting to her mates ignoring the customers. I still recommend this place, but she definitely ruins it (the people next to us felt the same after waiting 20 minutes for service, while we waited 25 minutes for our check - it wasn't busy, she was just hanging with her friends), she really needs some kind of training. Next time we come in, if she's on the bar, we will just leave and come another time.“
