“I dont usually leave reviews, pretty much ever, but I saw some very negative comments and I've had a total opposite experience so I'd like to leave a review. First, one of the reviews said the food is better quality at lunch or dinner time, and I came at 6pm, though there were no other people, I just wanna say I mightve gotten a better end of it. I ordered jumbo fried shrimp, which was not out of this world, but pretty tasty. Then I ordered a lamb with white rice, hot and piquant sauce with zuccini/broccoli/onions/peppers served together. It tasted great, perfect combination of sweet/tangy/and spicy. I do agree, rice tasted a bit dry, but not to the point of stale. It did spread apart, but dried rice doesn't necessarily mean bad, just means less water was put in to make it, and it might be something of their recipe for a purpose. I do feel bad for some ppl who had bad experience here, but this restaurant is 1. Clean 2. Serves clean taste food unlike other so many american-based chinese restaurants who spike their food with msg for instant pleasure.I had a great experience here, nice and quiet place with a combination of peaceful, calm chinese music in the background.I did have my doubts before cuz of the reviews, but It turned out to be one of the better decisions I made today to visit the restaurant.All I'm saying is, before judging a book by its cover from negative comments, it might be worth a try before choosing another place.And it is most DEF better than McDonald's or quick franchise pickup, but obviously I can't speak for others.Good experience overall, good food, price is a bit higher end, but worth the time.“

“We booked Connie’s Corner for both my bridal shower catering and our wedding. They were super responsive, affordable, and went above and beyond! They supplied everything we needed (plates, silverware, etc) and even helped setup our cocktail hour food (which we supplied ourselves). Connie’s made our big day super special and ensured it all went smoothly! The guests couldn’t say enough good things about how great the food was too! I would recommend them for all weddings and other events in the tri-state area!“

“NOT CCW FRIENDLY!!! They have a sign on the door but I was told that was for the weekends only. I tried to tell them a person cannot legally carry with the sign and they pointed out there was no ord. number in the sign. Carry at your own risk. The wife ordered hot chocolate but they were out. I had the filled tip and it was very good. The picture showed the diner with onions and mushrooms. Apparently they don't come with the meal and are an add on which I would have gladly bought had the server tried to upsale me. The onion rings that were thick were soggy.“

“I would recommend this place for a good burger. It's a solid 4.5 out of 5 but i gave it 5 stars bc Google will not let me do 4.5. We went for the first time last night and had a great experience with our server Carol and we really enjoyed the burgers. They are fresh and flame grilled which is not something i have found around the area. The decor was just ehh but the restaurant was clean which is a plus when a place is short staffed.“

“May 9th, we just had pot roast at Bob Evens. Service & food was good! We went there a few months ago, after they opened back up after COVID, it was horrible. I think they’re working the bugs out with all new help. We were very happy!“
