“It had been many years since we had been to the Root Beer Stand so it was high time to come back. It had grown a fair amount since our last visit which was great to see. The place was really busy but they really are streamlined well and there was not a long wait time. There is a bit of indoor seating but a vast majority of the seating is at picnic tables outside around the area. Everything looked great all around the grounds although you must remember you are outside and there are a fair amount of bees around so beware of that. I had a footlong chili dog and fries which were excellent especially the chili dog. Also had to have a root beer float which was legendary as usual as their locally sourced root beer really is delicious. This is definitely an awesome place to go on a summer day for sure and it gets my highest recommendation.“

“I'll start by saying I pass a few other Bob Evans locations to get to this one. The wait staff is great and they are pretty good at getting your food out to you as soon as it is ready. I always get the farmers double meat with sausage links, French toast, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. The only complaint I have about their food is that their hash browns are just ok. Don't go there expecting waffle house hash browns...

That being said this is my #1 place to go for breakfast.“

“we had breakfast this morning / afternoon it was great our waitress was sweet and kind and helpful I can't remember her name but the entire staff are so nice the place was clean and peaceful our food was as always yummy definitely a come back place“

“This place consistently has good food and service. The breakfasts at this particular location are outstanding. Have to mention server Nora specifically, she is the best server I’ve encountered in Ohio, maybe ever. Could seriously give lessons to other food servers about how to do their jobs. “I'm not going to lie I was not happy when I entered the restaurant after being on hold for 10 minutes to have curb side pick up, but I quickly realized even 5 minutes before closing it was quite busy! the gentleman at the counter was apologetic and kind, our food was warm, and my son loved the cookies.“

“If you go in the mornings you will receive better service from the servers! We have been a few times at night and Everytime it has taken ten minutes just to get our drink order and there will be maybe 5 tables in the store full. The food is always amazing though, and the breakfast staff is always amazing.“

“We were in around 11am this morning. The restaurant was packed and staff appeared to be stretched thin. We were seated after about 25 minutes. Nate was our server handling the section like a boss. Service was top notch. Good was top notch. No disappointments. Keep it up Nate!“
