I will always come for their French onion soup and bread bowls, but the price has just gotten so out of control. I went their with a friend the other day and it was over $30. $30 for 2 people. We might as well have gone to a real restaurant.
I like Panera. That's important. I wasn't near my home and had a couple of hours to kill. It was after 5:00pm and the local libraries were all closed. In that situation, Panera is a go-to solution. I ordered a half chipotle avocado sandwich. It was good, as always, but the avocado slice felt like it was almost an inch thick and only covered half my sandwich.
