“I am absolutely smitten. Kevin (a host) from Coldwater Cafe was just self motivated to call my personal line from a number he got from my Valentines reservation. I thought I forgot something there last night, but no. It was to tell me that Coldwater was serving one of my favorite soups today and he remembered that I loved it. What he didn't know is I already had a cup to go in the fridge from last night as he wasn't working when we came in for dinner. There is really no other restaurant local to Miami County that equals Coldwater's food, environment, staff, and overall experience. How incredibly thoughtful. Just love that kid and the whole establishment. It's one of the only local restaurants that delivers the whole package every time. Just wow.”

“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.”

“What a great experience! The building was beautiful, it’s huge but still feels very private. Ordering at different bars is kinda weird, I’d love for them to use a kiosk system or something but also wasn’t a big enough turn off to change my mind on coming here in the future. Service was quick and friendly, and everything was really yummy. We had two boards, and the roasted olives and several varieties of beer since my husband kept ordering me the “surprise me” beer and let the bartender pick. The kids brought card games and played quietly while the adults conversed and caught up… and we had about 100 dollars of food and 100 dollars of beer and I don’t regret the spurge. We were there around 2 hours.”

“Best coffee shop I've ever been to. You walk in there and it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to start wondering if North Star coffee station has been open for a long time. Every time I walk in there I'm greeted with positivity which is infectious. Definitely worth a 45 minute drive for me just to get some good coffee. and with some brilliant flavors definitely going again sometime soon.”

“Use to go to the place on 571 pretty regular. Been looking for a good time to try the new place in Troy. Today was a perfect day for a walk in Troy and a quick stop at the new place. The place is gorgeous inside the food great and the people working were friendly, fun, and polite!! Stop in for a burger, beer, and gret atmosphere they won't disappoint. Of course if you leave without getting the mac & cheese balls there is something wrong with you and I don't know if you can be helped”
