“JaxBar has the perfect atmosphere if you’re looking for a quaint local experience. The bar itself is small in size making it easy to be a part of the conversation. Although it’s small it contains plenty of character and characters. Proper drinks from friendly bartenders surrounded by plenty of locals that seemed to become your friends as soon as you walk in. Jax is always doing something to help their local community as well. Another great reason to visit.“

“My husband ordered the Lake Erie perch sandwich and swears it was some other fish. Size of the filet was much larger than a Lake Erie perch. After reading other reviews, we see that there were complaints about this issue recently. The menu says “Lake Erie perch sandwich”. Nothing about an up charge for Lake Erie perch.“

“The food at Daly’s is always good. Extensive menu and daily food specials keep me coming back. Always quick service from friendly bartenders. A staple in Sandusky that’s been around forever for a reason! Plenty of room for everyone with a huge bar and a large dining room.“

“We were in the area for 4 days. Cleats was the only restaurant we visited twice! Their outdoor patio is nice with a marina view. The appetizers were great. Foods were a little lackluster. The frozen cocktails were delicious. The second visit, our 4 kids were whiny, loud, and impatient. Our waitress (wish I would have got her name) was so kind and patient with us. She got mom and dad’s drinks out right away with waters for all the kids. Brought coloring pages and crayons. Took the babies binky and rinsed it off after it fell to the ground and brought it back wrapped in a napkin. She was very attentive and kind to our family. :)“

“We had eaten here several years ago and really liked it. Back in the area, we decided to go there for lunch. Sometimes a restaurant can change over time. But not Slater's. We ordered Beef Brisket Burgers with hand cut fries. We certainly liked the burgers and the fries were incredible. The service was truly superb. Thank you staff.“
