“If you’re looking for a really good breakfast that is not expensive, the Cold Creek Cafe is a good choice! This was my first visit and my wife and I have decided to make it a Saturday morning routine. Try the steak and eggs with trash potatoes. Don’t forget to add peppers and onions with cheese on top. The coffee is good! Much better than most other breakfast cafes. The two of us had a large breakfast that cost us $23. Very well done!”

“This is a little out of the way; however, if you are camping at Camp Sandusky this is a hidden gem. We have only went for ice cream and have never been disappointed. The ice cream is creamy and delicious, especially when you mix your favorite toppings in. There isn't much seating as this is more of a drive through experience. The service is hit or miss, sometimes overly friendly and other times you are just a number to be served. We don't let this get to us as the ice cream out weighs the ambiance and service.”

“I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Needed something new as far as pizza goes. The reviews looked promising, as well as the pictures of all the different pizzas.Ordered 2 medium pizzas and an order of breadsticks, with an addition side of Garlic Butter. Ordered at 610, was estimated to be done at 640, and was ready 10 minutes early, staff greeted me when I walked in.Now the pizza. Definitely one of the best pizzas I have had in a while. Very flavorful and perfect amount of toppings on both of them. Pickle pizza was loaded with pickles and the ranch drizzle was a great touch. Bacon Cheeseburger pizza was also fantastic. Toppings weren't falling all over the place.I went back to leave a tip and tell them what a great job they did. I'll definitely be ordering again. Amazing spot. ??????”

“We live in Cincinnati and come here occasionally when visiting family. It’s so good! I always love their soups and their salads are awesome. The Honey Maple salad dressing is sooooo good! We’ve never had a bad meal or bad service here. Their muffins are delicious too! I will say…I wish their fries were thinner. They are very thick. Almost like steak fries. Which we aren’t fans of. But, we still eat them. ? I attached a pic of their Berardi’s salad… I substituted candied pecans for the almonds and didn’t get the cheese. I added grilled chicken! YUM. ? (that honey maple dressing is divine)”

“I was surprised by the cafeteria style metal line railings. And that the line was longer than their line guides. The staff actually moved people really quickly! Our ice cream was delicious. The unicorn dream flavor reminded of those pink and white circus cookies with the sprinkles on them. My 12 year loved the Lake Erie island cookie monster. My 8 year old like the multi-colored vanilla. I can't remember the name, but it did have the word super in it.”

“Great place to gather with friends. Atmosphere is cosmopolitan yet warm and friendly. Busy with good live music yet calm enough to carry on quite serious conversations. I hosted 12 men who are not all easy to please. (Some might be called grumpy!) They were pleased that evening!”

“This place is great! Old, classy, dinner to the max! Fast friendly service, clean restrooms...what more could you want? I think most people come here for breakfast, but I did lunch. Was looking at the chopped salads, but then saw the smoked pork chop. Okay, you had me at smoked. Included a salad and coleslaw. Bone in, like a little T-Bone steak. About 1/2" think- would have preferred a much thicker chop, but for $10, I'm not complaining. The meat was a bit tough, but the flavor was off the charts! The salad was nothing special but the coleslaw was tasty. Need to come back for breakfast!”

“Durond was an absolute pleasure. It's very rare that you go out to eat and me such a lively and exuberant personality in a workplace. The zucchini fries were phenomenal and as to be expected their pizzas were phenomenal as well. Everything was very reasonably priced and the beer selection was also astounding. “So the soup was fantastic!, but the smoothie was disgusting. They use Nescafé milk powder in it, and the mango is something called 'mango jam'. It was so bad, and they insisted everyone loves them. “Staff and atmosphere can only be topped with the quality of drinks. They make the best drinks for every taste and truly know how to assemble cocktails. I always get an old fashioned and my wife, who doesn’t drink whiskey, says she would definitely order one. A great establishment in downtown Port Clinton that is focused on quality over quantity.”

“What an awesome place this is! We first went in July 2023 (perfectly en route from Chicago to NE Ohio) not really sure what to expect. First off, the food was incredible. We got the pho and seaweed salad. Both were phocking pho-nom-nom-nom-inal. The beer was just as good. The selection from IPAs to sours...all fantastic. The IPAs rival Treehouse, no joke.We came back end of January 2024. This time super pumped with high expectations. The website and social media said nothing about the brewery and restaurant being closed, so when we arrived and were told they were closed, we were super bummed. The owner could tell how disappointed we were and treated us to lots of beers (cans and draft...all awesome and on the house) and even ordered us some food. It was such an awesome experience and was so much fun. We stayed for multiple hours and hung out with the owner and his buddy. The only bummer was that we didn't get any of the pho or seaweed salad. I sure hope to be able to come back one day!”

“We tried this local pizza joint while staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. Ordered online & picked up within 20 minutes. The pizza & cheesebread were both delicious! Pizzas were large & a delicious thin crust!! We will definitely be back when in the area & would recommend as a great pizza carry out option!! A great change up from all the classic chain pizza places that we are used to!”
