“Tavern Off Broadway is hands down the best bar in Bedford! The atmosphere is on point—chill but lively, the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your drink without any drama. And speaking of drinks, they don’t play around. They free pour, and the liquor is the real deal—no watered-down nonsense like some other spots.
The bartenders know what they’re doing, and you get what you pay for—strong, quality drinks that hit just right. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual night out or looking for a solid spot to unwind, this is the place. Salute to them for keeping it real!“

“I had never been to Black Forest before - no reason, just hadn't. But when they placed 3rd in the Best Burger contest last week, I had to check it out. Met the mighty Francis McGarry for a sales meeting and dinner. They were NOT lying about the burger - FANtastic. Staff were friendly and the owner stopped by and chatted. Bingo in the next room had the place packed, but it wasn't loud - they just sounded like they were having a blast. I Highly Recommend Black Forest for great food, and great people. Definitely 5 stars🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖“

“The meal with Mama Laura and server Tae was an incredible experience. You often hear of the chefs coming to the table talking with the patrons, Mama Laura was very personable and engaging. Server Tae instantly earned a generous tip by attending to us within minutes of us being seated. He showed genuine concern for our dining and spirits needs. I highly recommend this establishment for the excellent 'home cooked' soul food and customer service. You will not be disappointed. Also try the to go menu next door.“

“The serving size was generous - 2 large biscuits with our Jackpot breakfast order. The sausages were a little spicy for our taste & we substituted the nice bowl of fresh fruit instead of the gravy. We added bacon which very tasty, the eggs were just the way we ordered them. Our server, Angela was an excellent waitress, anticipating needs and promptly delivering our meal then checking back to see if there were any further requests.“
“Alicia is one of the most genuine and efficient bartenders I've come across and I've traveled a lot. I don't write reviews very often so I really appreciate her service and efficiency. Shes super friendly and remembers her customers. Really come to this bar because of her!! ?“

“This was my first time at Cork-N-Bottle. I was very pleased. I honestly did not know what to expect but I was very happy when I walked out! I sat in a booth and was seen from one of the bar tenders. Right away I was approached and served very good drinks and food.“

“Our very first visit to Mad Jacks. Denise, our server, was wonderful! Fun, engaging and made an amazing Manhattan. We enjoyed the goat cheese salad and spare rib sandwich on a pretzel bun and perfectly cooked fries. Overall just a fun lunch experience. We will be back!“

“My husband and I Stopped in randomly after driving past on a Saturday afternoon. We loved it. Sat at the bar. Talked to one of the owners who served up a fantastic cranberry orange margarita! Cozy atmosphere. We shared the breakfast burger with the most perfectly fried hash browns and a side of the Brussel sprouts! No complaints. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!“

“We held a wedding rehearsal dinner there on June 27th. It was a party of 16 in The Porch area. Our waiter, Neil, was extraordinary, the food and drink was exceptional. My only regret is that we live 10 hours away so going back and sampling all the other menu choices is problematic. Highly recommend!“
“One of the best butchers on the East Side—PLUS—great lunch options and a cute bar as well. The Smash Burger with “Comet Sauce” (nod to Solon) is one of the best I’ve ever had. Knowledgeable staff and owner (Taylor), plus a great retail wine and beer selection make this place unique. I♥️BP!“
