“I had never been to Black Forest before - no reason, just hadn't. But when they placed 3rd in the Best Burger contest last week, I had to check it out. Met the mighty Francis McGarry for a sales meeting and dinner. They were NOT lying about the burger - FANtastic. Staff were friendly and the owner stopped by and chatted. Bingo in the next room had the place packed, but it wasn't loud - they just sounded like they were having a blast. I Highly Recommend Black Forest for great food, and great people. Definitely 5 stars🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖“

“The meal with Mama Laura and server Tae was an incredible experience. You often hear of the chefs coming to the table talking with the patrons, Mama Laura was very personable and engaging. Server Tae instantly earned a generous tip by attending to us within minutes of us being seated. He showed genuine concern for our dining and spirits needs. I highly recommend this establishment for the excellent 'home cooked' soul food and customer service. You will not be disappointed. Also try the to go menu next door.“

“We went for dinner on a Saturday night. I made the reservation for 5:30pm, but we were ready to eat at 5 when they opened. I asked if they could seat us and they did graciously. Our server, Madison, was very good. attentive but not hovering. She checked on us often. My dining companion had a specialty Christmas eggnog and I had the tequila flights. The eggnog was a little different in that it had kahlua as well as rum. It was delicious. The flights were varied and interesting. My friend had the salmon which she just kept raving about, saying she would get it every time we came. It had a spinach base with risotto and a bourbon sauce. I had the short ribs which fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. They came with candied carrots, brussel sprouts and grits. Perfect. We were so full, we skipped dessert. We love Millcreek. I think it is one of the best restaurants in any casino, except Vegas.“

“Stopped in last night with a couple of friends as part of our local 'Wings & Things' tour, where we visit local hostelries to check out their food, beers, vibe & hospitality!

First up, this place doesn't look like much from the outside but don't be put off! Inside we were made very welcome by Jason, the barman, and the locals who were sitting next to us at the bar.

The beer selection was limited, no taps, but a decent selection of domestics with one or two local bottles/cans.

Between us, we had wings, BLT and fries. The wings were cooked to perfection (as we like 'em), crispy outside and juicy & succulent in. Both sauces, garlic parm & a hot bbq were very tasty & 'did what they said on the tin'. We could probably have done with a bit more spice/kick. The BLT looked great, well toasted with plenty filling and the fries were thick cut and again perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, we maybe had a one or two wings left but polished off the BLT & fries.

As always when we explore, we didn't know what to expect but the Handlebar well exceeded our expectations! We will go back in a few weeks/months to check consistency!

“This was my first time at Cork-N-Bottle. I was very pleased. I honestly did not know what to expect but I was very happy when I walked out! I sat in a booth and was seen from one of the bar tenders. Right away I was approached and served very good drinks and food.“

The room was perfectly sized and comfortable for our group. The food was good, but the service truly stood out: it was prompt, friendly, and the entire staff was incredibly helpful.

“My husband and I Stopped in randomly after driving past on a Saturday afternoon. We loved it. Sat at the bar. Talked to one of the owners who served up a fantastic cranberry orange margarita! Cozy atmosphere. We shared the breakfast burger with the most perfectly fried hash browns and a side of the Brussel sprouts! No complaints. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!“

“We held a wedding rehearsal dinner there on June 27th. It was a party of 16 in The Porch area. Our waiter, Neil, was extraordinary, the food and drink was exceptional. My only regret is that we live 10 hours away so going back and sampling all the other menu choices is problematic. Highly recommend!“

“I feel like I got cheated from an awesome experience because of my waiter Adonis. he was not rude, he was just inpatient, he didn't recommend any toppings for my steak and was so matter of fact, he said he been there for a while like 8 years but it was so rushed and he was a somewhat of a mr know it all, I would go back but I would want a different server, he like finished my sentence and didn't take my request seriously it ruined the mood, the steak was ok, Def not in my top 5 steak house in the area!“

The food was a B-, service could have definitely been better and the atmosphere was average. Drinks could improve and steaks ordered were reasonable. Coming from the pickiest eater and someone who’s quite difficult to impress; this place is PHENOMENAL. If you enjoy Indian cuisine or want to try, go check this place out! It’s FANTASTIC and their lunch buffet is only $13! Honestly shocked at how incredible my experience was.
