“We always go to the Chardon location. Never had a bad experience. Hubby and I love the chicken marsala. We were sadden when it was removed from the menu. We went today and its on special. Still amazing as ever... It NEEDS to be Added back to the menu. Marcy and our server Diane were amazing as always :)“

“We cannot thank cleats chardon and Kathy Pullman enough for the amazing job they did hosting our benefit on Sunday! We were lucky enough to have almost 150 people come show their support for us and kathy made sure we had enough space and food for everyone to be comfortable. They not only provided amazing food for us but also helped an incredible amount with set up and tear down of the event. We are so thankful for everything. From the food, to the plates, napkins, table cloths, tickets and the space she provided for our event, the bartenders amanda and melissa did an amazing job as well! Everything was perfect and we could not have asked for a better day! Highly recommend cleats chardon for your next event!“

“A small quiet place with some of the best food you’ll ever have. I absolutely love their hamburgers and fries which are freshly cooked not frozen! The lady with the long dark hair that works there is incredible and always makes you feel special. Also their drink and food prices are very reasonable making this bar/restaurant one of the most affordable in town.“

“I stop in from time to time since the first time I went in and got a Burger. It was great! Nice place to take whomever you love or respect, without worry of any disappointment in food, service or atmosphere. The place brings together the rural and industrial folks for a good hot meal, cold drinks and a welcome feel that you've met others you'd think were your neighbors. Best advice is to, stop in yourself and pick from a good menu anything you like. It's all good! I even got a vegetarian burger there yesterday for my Uncle who said, "that is the best I've ever had!" Despite not getting one, that told me there is something there for everyone. Try it, you'll like it!“

“Spats is my kinda place. The first time I visited Spats, I saw a neon beer sign in the window and figured I’d grab a beer while I was waiting for my gf to finish her shopping. I was instantly met with the dive-bar/hole in the wall vibe. Spats did not disappoint! If that’s not what you’re looking for, you might try the dining area instead of the bar area, which has at least 10 TVs, so I assume it’s also a nice sports bar.

So I told my gf that we should come back sometime when we want to hang out. We did! There aren’t many vegetarian options, but you can get typical bar food, plus an extensive lunch/dinner menu. I tried the fried mushrooms. They were delicious! I see why some ppl don’t like the fries, but they were perfect for me. They were not greasy or cooked in recycled oil like some idiots claimed in their reviews. But yes, they’re typical of real potato fries: soft and limp, just the way I like them. But they were also a little bland. Nothing a little salt couldn’t fix. I also had the fried shrimp, which was fine. Cole slaw was OK. My gf liked her chicken salad. Portions are HUGE. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu. I’m giving it 5 stars to offset the idiots who gave it one. But overall, it’s probably 4.5 stars.“

“Surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. Experienced friendly and fast service at the bar. Ordered the brisket sandwich. Food came quickly and was hot. The brisket was tender and tasty. The red onions didn’t enhance the meat however. The optional mushroom sauce was not appetizing looking and was luke warm. Onion rings were good and worth the up charge. I feel like the menu has gotten a bit stale. May need to change it up a bit to keep the long time patrons coming back.
The bourbon selection is outstanding for this area. Plenty of the sought after pours and plenty of lesser known choices as well.“
