“Was looking for a place to go for some good food and drinks before a concert at riverbend. The local post was SO good! Not pictured is the Buffalo chicken egg rolls and fried pickles. Pictured is a summer special cocktail, and the 1788 burger with their uniquely shaped fries that were perfectly crispy. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend!“

“I like Arnold's. The atmosphere of the courtyard was great and the service was also very good, but the food is just ok-ish. Burgers, fries, short rib grilled cheese - all good, but dont stray off into their other food. The panko- crusted chicken breast was substantially overcooked on a truffle risotto that felt more like a "just add water" side dish. The asparagus was the best part. It is a tavern, so pub grub would be a reasonable expectation, and in that way, it did not disappoint, but the menu shouldn't carry something that the kitchen can't deliver.“

“How can I make you understand in depth how great this place was!. I didn't even mean to stop in this place! I was headed to get food for myself. I saw this little joint with a back porch, camping type pavilion attached to a little oblong brick building that just looked like it wasn't for me.This place...It doesn't scream or pop out at you. It looks like it would be in one of my friends yard behind his house on the side of his garage.As I walked by....and past it, I saw "great food"!! In big letters painted on the side of the building. So I tryd em!... lol to see if they knew what they were talking about!.I serve my lord Jesus and don't really drink but I came for the food! And to test its words painted on the side of the building.Every one was nice! Everything was comfortable, everyone cared!... everyone knew each other and everyone let's you be!.... I couldn't belive it! I found a place to go be and eat and they let you be....if you leave hostility, hatred, ugly ness, and a disrespectful attitude at door..... You will have no problems here! I loved the people, I fell in love with the place!, you can be who you are! I think it's encouraged and probably the only way this bar and grill will have you.As soon as I came in, there was a veteran, and two others at the bar with a classic western playing on the tv and two sweethearts behind the bar.... it was laid back and quite for a Tuesday afternoon.During happy hr domestic beer is 2:50$ and I got a great double mushroom cheese burger for 6$The lighting was perfect! ....For a bar/grill. Right lighting with lamp and neon lights scattered throughout the restaurant and bar! The lights mixed well with the atmosphere splashing and filling up color, mood, and lighting over all the creveses, nooks, and crannys of the spaces in the restaurant bar and grill. If you want a bar and grill out of the movies... Here it is! I loved the assortment of signs, billboards, slogans and pic's all over the walls....Well I tell you the food was off the chain!. The hospitality on point and the price is right. it does not hit your pocket at all. The food says to the money! Get out of here.....I always am looking for a place to eat drink and socialize in peace, and in prosperity. to be myself at the end of the day!!!!....Besides Christ my lord and savior I Just want good food, at a great price! When I go out to eat!. I got more than that at jds honky tonk and emporium! It checked off every thing I quit looking for on my list now a days!!!...I'm always left wanting visiting a place. as i leave my mind is trying to point out the good pointers in a restaurant and bar and grill..... Well I just plane ol loved jds honky tonk & emporium.words fail but if you go! They'll accept you,you can be you, friendly, and you best belive you can get a great bite to eat! And drink.Seriously how can I tell you this food is worth trying and the place worth visiting! Weather you are rich and can't fathom going here, or poor and you think this place ant for you! every one in between..... The food was good... if you want good ol American cheeseburgers fry's and cheese steaks and food....try this place plus on Sundays every one is a Bengals fan. “It's really heartwarming to see a mini curbside food pantry there also that you can contribute to and share your extra blessings with people. I like that these are popping up in the city. I've seen one in Northside also, by the old IGA and rec center.“

“Stopped in for a quick bite after golf. Wings were a little overcooked but edible. Special on Thursday is 10 wings for $7. Atmosphere was lively and a bingo game was being played in a separate area. Kids and adults were there and eating a wide variety of food.“

“Hanks... Hanks is Hanks, solid bartenders. Pool table is bang up as well. I wouldnt mess with the bartenders cause they can handle their own business but don't think they don't have a plethora of regulars that will have their back, cause they're just that good and hospitable to their customers. Walk in and you feel like a regular. Love it and will be back again and referring to friends to watch the game at.

Parking: If not in the front go around back.

“The bartender are not friendly to new customers. They only serve people who are regularly in there. The bartenders give off old bitter hater vibes. If you’re nice looking woman I don’t recommend you go there cuz you will not be served a drink. Also, if you are not from that area the people are rude and weird towards you. Do not recommend this place because the energy is off.“

“Been going here for a long time, now; mostly carry-out. Real good food; gyros have generous amounts of meat in them. Service is good, and atmosphere is really great especially if you are into sports. However, food prices seem to have spike recently which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Overall, still a great place with a widely varied menu.“
