“This is the modern-day version of a mall food court but is so much nicer! There are many different styles of food to choose from so there will be something for everyone. The seating area is spacious and clean. They also have water stations with free water so you don't have to wait in any lines for a drink. There was live music the Saturday night we were there.“
“We wandered in here late on a Sunday night from the hotel across the street and heard this place was good (ironically from the Ramen place that had run out of noodles). They had run out of ingredients for the Cuban sandwich my hubby had wanted and the guy was super apologetic. We decided to share the Who Dey bowl--delicious!--and even gave us a free beef empanada to make up for the Cubano. Super kind and really great service. Highly recommend!“
“It's a great place to escape for a while and to listen to good music while you grab a bite to eat. You can even have a nice date with a friend and enjoy over seeking the entire area. There's always something happening to make you laugh and smile.Parking: When you eat at the eatery, your receipt allows you to free parking; use your receipt pay for your parking, on floors 4-6.“
“I've been going to YiHi Japan in the Eastgate Mall since I was a little kid. I live further away now but still think about it from time to time. A recent review was very negative and accused this place of having changed management/teriyaki sauces/recipes and being very gross now. This scathing review had me questioning if my old favorite restaurant really was falling apart. I haven't been in at least two years and knew I had to see for myself!I just went and picked up my usual chicken teriyaki. The wait was much quicker than I expected and the workers were very kind. The food is delicious and tastes just as I remember it tasting! So no, they have not changed their teriyaki sauces/recipes, and if they have changed managers or have new staff, I certainly can't see any negative difference!I don't know what that other lady ate, but it must not have actually been from this YiHi Japan! Maybe one of the restaurants nextdoor, but the teriyaki sauce is not different. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Don't let the Karens or the fact that it's in a mall turn you off. It's fantastic.“
“First of all, the place is huge. I like how it had different seating spaces. Long tables for families or meetings, small tables, comfy chairs, couches, etc. There are about a dozen different eateries, so there's something for everyone. Water station with still and sparkling water, which is a nice touch. You order at the counter and they will text you when your food is ready. Prices are maybe slightly on the higher side, but definitely worth a visit. Closed on Mondays!“
“The look of the eating area was very nice. It was very loud though. We got food from 3 different places and prices were not to where we could do this regularly. It's not that prices per meal were too high but we had to purchase 3 different meals to get enough food for 2 people. Service was good at each place and I liked the text system when the order was ready.“
