I was down and out and went to a food pantry yesterday. To my surprise I received a container of split pea and ham. ( one of my favorite soups ) this was the absolute best soup I have ever eaten in my life. I looked at the ingredients which included 3 things I never eat alone. I just had to figure out where this soup came from. Now that I know I will spread the word and most definitely be buying this soup when my luck changes.
This is a nonprofit organization that rescues surplus food from stores and restaurants and transforms it into soup and meals for churches, community centers and other organizations that serve the community. They also teach people to cook, so they can prepare their own meals.

Absolutely delicious!! And I love that they are a food rescue!! Delicious food with a mission and at a great price there is nothing better! The soups are great, I've had bbq and sides and all kinds of tasty foods here as well. A must try!!
