“We had a great meal at Nicholson's, as usual. Server, Deja, was very attentive, pleasant, and accurate. The food and the drinks (beers for me, mixed drinks for wife) were very good. We had Scotch Eggs, Salmon Crostini, the Welsh Dip sandwich, and the Shrimp and Grits, all delicious. Only minor point to note is that it is not the cheapest place. But what can you expect of a good place in a great location in downtown Cincinnati these days? The check without tips was just over $100.“

“I love Arnold's. We have gone there since 1989! I am glad to support this place! We had a fried pretzel, hamburgers and during sangria. Everything was great! We sat upstairs so it was quiet and the temperature was perfect relatively to the hot temperatures outside. The waiter was very nice and very attentive. Places like Arnold's make Cincinnati downtown a place worth to visit!“

We were greeted quickly upon arrival and offered our choice of seating. Bartenders and waitstaff introduced themselves and genuinely inquired about how your day has been. If you’ve been here before they remembered you. Dinning was relaxed and easygoing, no rush to order or pressure to upsell you. Food arrived quickly presented simply but attractively. “Hanks... Hanks is Hanks, solid bartenders. Pool table is bang up as well. I wouldnt mess with the bartenders cause they can handle their own business but don't think they don't have a plethora of regulars that will have their back, cause they're just that good and hospitable to their customers. Walk in and you feel like a regular. Love it and will be back again and referring to friends to watch the game at.

“This is a classic, cozy place to listen to the many fantastic jazz musicians from Cincinnati and beyond. The décor looks decades-old, probably nothing spent on the place in ages, but that's part of what makes it so comfortable. I felt like suddenly I'm in a little club in NYC or Chicago when I came in. The neighborhood is dicey but I parked on nearby Curtis Street, which is a short walk around the corner.“

“Solid easy to get to bar. Service is quick, you have to go to the bar for Service later in the night. Staff is polite and efficient. Beer is cold. You get pushed out pretty quick at 2am, so make sure your tab is paid or you have a hefty addition added to your tab!“
