“There is a wonderful little restaurant attached to this bar..and the braised short ribs are ..SEXY. Tender, full of flavor and absolutely delightful!! The chef always comes out to talk with the customers because clearly she loves what she does and is very good at it!! The bartenders are very personable and quite funny! John and Coach are awesome. Love this is place! *disclaimer..I do not remember the chef's name sorry...but her food speaks volumes as well as her professionalism..#girlsrock!! Keep up the great work! Lamb balls are sexy Mac and cheese..sexy Cuban panini...SEXY.. I love this place!“

“Great family run bar with good food, drinks and service. Went on a Monday night...managers special was Chicken Paprikash and a salad for $10. 👍👍 We ordered the Paprikash and a Chicken 🐔 Tenders and fries 🍟. Everything was excellent and we will be back. Food specials every day.“

“Cheap drinks, karaoke a group of amazing friends? You can’t go wrong with this place. I feel like is a great option to start or end the night with friends. The bar can get loud so if you want a nice sit down place this may not be the spot as people loudly screaming karaoke cannot be avoided but it is entertaining! Highly recommend this dive bar if you want a space to share with friends and if you enjoy karaoke it’s perfect.“

Absolute gem of a corner dive — the kind of place that keeps the locals hydrated, happy, and maybe just a little too honest. No frills, no pretense, no craft cocktail menus written in cursive. The vibe here is simple: they pour it, you drink it.
Décor? Let’s just say it’s less “HGTV” and more “grandpa’s basement that knows how to party.” But the stools are comfy, the drinks are cheap, and there’s Skee-Ball for anyone with the attention span of a goldfish (me).
Bonus points for the crock-pot cuisine — free snacks that taste better with every beer. Jukebox humming, game shows blaring, regulars laughing. Plenty of parking out back for your chariot home.

“A suburban bar with a dive feel. Drinks are good, staff is super nice! Plenty of seating. They have pool tables , darts, and even an old school pinball machine. I lived in the area for three years and when I am back in town to visit my friend it is our go to place!“

“ABC Tavern is awesome, Im a huge fan and often end up there for a late night snack. Their fries are, in my opinion, perfect. Exactly what you want in a fry. Their food i reasonably priced and well portioned. I always leave satisfied. The specials are interesting and usually very good too.
The service is always good, the bartenders are great, attentive, and take care of you. I have literally never asked for a refill on a water, they fill it multiple times before its empty. Which is one of my criteria for how good service is.
The vibes are also great. They play good music. Love the dollar bill wall behind the bar lol. And the types of people who go to town hall generally arent here, which is a big feature. I highly recommend this place.“

“I had never been to Black Forest before - no reason, just hadn't. But when they placed 3rd in the Best Burger contest last week, I had to check it out. Met the mighty Francis McGarry for a sales meeting and dinner. They were NOT lying about the burger - FANtastic. Staff were friendly and the owner stopped by and chatted. Bingo in the next room had the place packed, but it wasn't loud - they just sounded like they were having a blast. I Highly Recommend Black Forest for great food, and great people. Definitely 5 stars🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖“

“If you’re looking for a place to have some good easy food & great drinks, Foxes is where to go! Charlie is a WONDERFUL bartender, had us cracking up & provided the best service. He was very attentive to all of the guests, & the cook in the back (so sorry I forgot his name) was quick & made great food! They seemed to work well as a team, which as a former bartender really shows me how positive the environment is! Definitely going to be my regular “going out” spot for sure :)“

“Very seldom do i give 5 starts across the board, but I am seriously impressed! The service was a little different than I am used to, but that is certainly not a complaint. My wife and I each ordered a mushroom Swiss burger. It was by far the best I've had.“

“This place is the ultimate dive bar! I mean that in the best way possible. They get great musicians. Stickers and graffiti everywhere, fun things to look at everywhere. Drink prices are reasonable- $7 for a well cocktail, beers starting $4, I believe. The staff were all nice. The neighborhood was safe, in parks a few blocks away and felt quite safe walking to and from my car alone. I wish I had a bar like this in my home town, I’d go to every show there!“
