“A suburban bar with a dive feel. Drinks are good, staff is super nice! Plenty of seating. They have pool tables , darts, and even an old school pinball machine. I lived in the area for three years and when I am back in town to visit my friend it is our go to place!“
“This place is the ultimate dive bar! I mean that in the best way possible. They get great musicians. Stickers and graffiti everywhere, fun things to look at everywhere. Drink prices are reasonable- $7 for a well cocktail, beers starting $4, I believe. The staff were all nice. The neighborhood was safe, in parks a few blocks away and felt quite safe walking to and from my car alone. I wish I had a bar like this in my home town, I’d go to every show there!“

“Maybe I'm biased because I've never seen them lose here, but, for me, there's no better place in Lakewood to watch a Browns game. With the potluck dishes it's like family. Fuggetaboutit!

“There is a wonderful little restaurant attached to this bar..and the braised short ribs are ..SEXY. Tender, full of flavor and absolutely delightful!! The chef always comes out to talk with the customers because clearly she loves what she does and is very good at it!! The bartenders are very personable and quite funny! John and Coach are awesome. Love this is place! *disclaimer..I do not remember the chef's name sorry...but her food speaks volumes as well as her professionalism..#girlsrock!! Keep up the great work! “Been a regular here for a decent amount of time. The bartenders are always fantastic, the atmosphere is always superb. No wonder this bar was voted the best neighborhood bar in Cleveland. It shows in the care, dedication and commitment to the craft the bartenders show. Great prices, better conversations. Only downside is, the chip selection could be better.“

“I worked in hole in the wall bars for years...and if you are old enough you'll remember how they used to have a soul to them...and how that is currently lacking in most establishments...
Post & Beam not only still has that soul, but it has it in spades...from the colorful locals of all ages, to the fiesty barmaid thst makes the chaos look easy and does it with a smile, a smart ass comment and just enough sugar to make it all work...
As for the food...wings were cooked perfectly...spicy enough for most people and had a great flavor...now the burger I got was crazy and a must try...the buns are grilled cheese, the patty was definitely fresh made and cooked exactly the way I like it...
Come here...eat the food...join the conversation and enjoy the atmosphere...rare jem and a true holdout of a dying breed of bar.“

“Ya know, the place is great fun. The owner (Rick) is a really great guy. People are fun and I'd rate the experience higher if it weren't for the idiot "manager" (Brandon). This fool discourages and turns away people because he is a racist. Yup! Idiots are still out there. Unfortunately, they let this TOTAL looser run the place because he claims to have info on people in high places. He makes the stuff up! Hand to God's, it is total truth. Have a couple cocktails with friends, when you are on your way out he will call the Lakewood police on you. Instantly ruining your life!!! I KNOW!!! Who pulls that kind of sick move?!?! BRANDON at Corky's on Detroit!!! I know it's the absolute truth! He did it to my best friend.“

“Cheap drinks, karaoke a group of amazing friends? You can’t go wrong with this place. I feel like is a great option to start or end the night with friends. The bar can get loud so if you want a nice sit down place this may not be the spot as people loudly screaming karaoke cannot be avoided but it is entertaining! Highly recommend this dive bar if you want a space to share with friends and if you enjoy karaoke it’s perfect.“

Absolute gem of a corner dive — the kind of place that keeps the locals hydrated, happy, and maybe just a little too honest. No frills, no pretense, no craft cocktail menus written in cursive. The vibe here is simple: they pour it, you drink it.
Décor? Let’s just say it’s less “HGTV” and more “grandpa’s basement that knows how to party.” But the stools are comfy, the drinks are cheap, and there’s Skee-Ball for anyone with the attention span of a goldfish (me).
Bonus points for the crock-pot cuisine — free snacks that taste better with every beer. Jukebox humming, game shows blaring, regulars laughing. Plenty of parking out back for your chariot home.

“ABC Tavern is awesome, Im a huge fan and often end up there for a late night snack. Their fries are, in my opinion, perfect. Exactly what you want in a fry. Their food i reasonably priced and well portioned. I always leave satisfied. The specials are interesting and usually very good too.
The service is always good, the bartenders are great, attentive, and take care of you. I have literally never asked for a refill on a water, they fill it multiple times before its empty. Which is one of my criteria for how good service is.
The vibes are also great. They play good music. Love the dollar bill wall behind the bar lol. And the types of people who go to town hall generally arent here, which is a big feature. I highly recommend this place.“

“Whether it’s 7am or midnight this is the place to be! Impeccable service with a great atmosphere. The crowd here is hilarious and friendly as well. They have karaoke on Friday and Saturday. If you’re looking for a great time with a down to earth crowd then this is the place!“

Service lost a star for getting my order wrong, but the bill was correct.
Atmosphere lost points for having dust and cobwebs. They have ledges with decorative objects, they should just get rid of the decorations. Make the environment easy to clean.“

“Great prices on food and drinks. Nice people. They have karaoke too. Update 9-20-25. Didn't like potato skins. Liquid nacho cheese is used. Buffalo sauce was sweet. Didn't like the butter dauce either. Last food order T-TH is 6:45pm. Fri & Sat 1:45 am. No kitchen Mondays & Sundays, unless it's a Browns game.“

“Love this hole in the wall bar. Although I don't drink anymore, it's still good to stop in and visit the people I know from time to time. I just don't like Jim can never keep the kitchen open. Visit his other place, Cleoh's on Brookpark road in Fairview Park..good food there.“

“Great family run bar with good food, drinks and service. Went on a Monday night...managers special was Chicken Paprikash and a salad for $10. 👍👍 We ordered the Paprikash and a Chicken 🐔 Tenders and fries 🍟. Everything was excellent and we will be back. Food specials every day.“
