“I went to Cilantro Thai Express for the first time this weekend and I have to say I was very impressed everything had great flavor and the tea I tried was quite good definitely will be back, the older lady working the counter and bagging the food was very nice even though she encountered some rude customers, and after seeing I had been waiting about 45 min she even offered to remake my tea and apologized which I appreciated and respected. If I where to offer some advice I’d suggest getting a digital board for orders so as they come and are ready people can just read and know where they are in line, that way it’s be less stressful on the older lady. Regardless I’ll be back!!“

“I ordered through Uber eats so can't speak to service or atmosphere. I got the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp. They did not skimp on the chicken or the shrimp and I found it very flavorful and quite delicious. My one small complaint is that some of the pineapple still had the core so it was hard to chew.
I also got the mango sticky rice and it was absolutely delicious although I would have liked just a touch more coconut sauce. Overall I would definitely order from here again!!“

This place is a hidden gem in my opinion, not only was the Thai tea perfectly what you expect a classic thai iced tea to taste like, but the portions in my noodle bowl were beyond generous. Literally scallop or shrimp in every single bite, along with perfectly cooked and flavorful veggies Great option for Thai fare in Cleveland. And you get all this for just over 12 bucks.“

“Let me tell you this is a absolute delight of a find. We were originally planning to go to the typical hole in the wall up in Cleveland, but it totally slipped our minds that it was the Asian festival. Which btw an absolute nightmare for local Asian dinning. But the food here is fantastic, especially the pho. Tho heads up if you get a hot item, there no ac so be ready to sweat a bit. It was absolutely worth it tho.“

“First time trying this place. I’m Very surprised by how good my egg fried rice with tomato & chicken was!! I got medium spicy and tbh it was more spicy than I expected, but still a great taste. The most spicy would have probably overwhelmed me, and I am Mexican. The portion size was also a bit larger than expected 👍“

I was recommended to this restaurant by my coworkers. Albeit they have only had one item before, the pineapple chicken. I figured it is a Thai location, so I should try out the Pad Thai first.

Tried to call in my order. Nobody answered. Little off putting to say the least. If this wasn't in the same plaza as where I work, I would have gone elsewhere for dinner. With it being so close I have enough time to order and take with at the restaurant.

I was expecting the service to be bad when I got there. They don't answer their phones, after all. But honestly, the guy running the place could not have been kinder. He took my order as soon as he was free and it was only 10-12 minutes before I was walking out the door with my food.

I ordered the Pad Thai and Thai rolls. Total came to a little over $20. Let me tell ya, the value is really good because there must have been 5-6 pounds of food in my bag. The dinner portions are quite large. But I'm not complaining because it will reheat as leftovers really well I'm sure.

The Thai rolls are perfect. Super crispy and crunchy on the outside, and filled with delicious stuffings on the inside. And the dipping sauce is the perfect level of sweet. Order these every time.

The Pad Thai is delish as well. From what I could tell there were three main forms of protein, eggs, chicken, and shrimp. (Four if you are technical and want to count the nuts.)

The meal was cooked brilliantly and it has a lot of flavor. I don't think this restaurant is super traditional in their recipes. But I don't think the Pad Thai in particular strays from what you would expect. I want to come back and try some of their Chinese offerings as well.

Solid first visit. The food was fresh and piping hot. It was tasty. And the portions are big enough to fill my belly and have some leftovers.

Could not be more pleased.

I will mention this. The dining area is teeny tiny. And most of the booths will only fit two people in total. It's not a good place for a large gathering or get together. But I definitely recommend visiting if it's just one or two people.“

The bar across the way is blasting music to get people revved for the Cavs playoff game later tonight, and we're enjoying the party.“
