It was horrible tonight! 😢
The food came out cool to touch which is odd for chicken bowl. When asked by the waitress, she took it right back. Do you know the kitchen had the gall to heat up the food and bring it right back?! Might I add multiple people had the same item so returning reheated food with warm forks is unacceptable.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but our Father’s Day experience was disappointing.
We arrived around 3:00 PM and received our drinks, but our server did not return to our table until approximately 3:35 PM. During that time, we weren’t able to place any food orders, not even an appetizer. While our waitress was pleasant, the long wait was frustrating, especially on a day meant to celebrate my dad.
And there was food underneath the table. We all used our shoes to push the food away.
I ordered sweet tea and was given unsweetened tea with sugar packets and no explanation. My younger sister’s burger arrived burnt to a crisp and was barely edible.
What made the experience even more uncomfortable was the overall atmosphere. The manager came to our table multiple times to “check in.” While that may sound like good customer service, it felt excessive and awkward. By the end of the meal, several members of our party, including my father, commented that the staff’s behavior felt strange and unwelcoming.
As a Black family spending well over $200 on a Father’s Day meal, we left feeling disappointed and questioning whether we were being treated differently. I can’t speak to anyone’s intentions, but I can speak to how the experience made us feel.
Unfortunately, what should have been a special Father’s Day celebration turned into an uncomfortable dining experience.

This place has sadly gone downhill since it opened only to be capped by a server standing over you while you use their mobile payment device to pay for a 100.00 lunch for too. Stay classy Alley Cat…

Amazing food , service super friendly and efficient, Devin was really patient, attentive with us and the kids, we were a party of 15 person , I know that is not easy to accommodate, all the another staff as well from host to manager 5 star. Delicious drinks and desert as well. I really recommend.

Everything was amazing! I had my puppy with me and I'm from out of town so I didn't have anywhere to leave him and they opened up the covered patio so we could bring him and eat. The service was absolutely great from Joe and Sean. The food was also really delicious. 10/10 recommend if you're in Cleveland! Thanks guys for being so accommodating to us and Indie!

My wife and I retuned for our 34th anniversary after an absence of about two years, and noticed immediately that things had changed. It seems that Zack Bruell was no longer the owner, and it showed. Everything was of lesser quality right out of the gate. The air of professionalism was gone. It might as well have been Red Lobster. I had the grouper. It arrived in a bowl with mushrooms, green beans, and corn. It looked like a bunch of leftovers- and tasted it too. My wife has the seafood enchiladas, which were dry and literally seemed microwaved. It was all stunningly disappointing, especially at the exorbitant prices they charge. The only upside was meeting Mitchell, our server, who is a great guy. Still, we won't be returning.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Alley Cat Oyster Bar! From the moment we booked our reservation until the time we left, the customer service was exceptional.
Our table was completely ready right at our 4:30 reservation time, which was incredibly impressive for such a large group. The staff was so accommodating and welcoming, including allowing us to bring in a cake to celebrate. Every detail was handled professionally and with such kindness.
On top of that, the food was delicious! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, and the atmosphere made the entire evening even more special. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend Alley Cat Oyster Bar for both small dinners and large celebrations!
