Catchy name, great location - on the water. The atmosphere was not as classy as I hoped. Appeared to be a before club hang out. Waitress, Angel was horrible. After we placed our order she didn't come back to check in our table - in fact, the shrimp we ordered never came and she wasn't even aware of it. Time for the check and she was out right rude! And far as the food - cheese bread (cold, flavorless); oysters (best were the Blue Point, the others were small and lacked flavor); fish (grouper) tacos - best thing we ordered. Would not be a repeat customer.

Great oysters and great location by the water. Our waitress was super friendly and gave us great recommendations from the menu. Appetizers were generous in portion, with the highlight being the mussels. The crabcake (looks more like a crab patty?) and calamari were average. I like that they have a happy hour for oysters, overall would recommend. Parking was a bit inconvenient but that’s just typical Flats. Overall would recommend!

We spent my birthday in Cleveland and I had a craving for raw oysters. You might think, Good oysters in Cleveland, OH? Nah, couldn't be. I'm here to tell you they have the best oysters I've had in a very long time as well as multiple kinds on their menu. Everything we had was absolutely delicious!
On to service. My husband loves to sit at the bar when we go out to eat. The service was fantastic! Our courses came out timed perfectly and everyone we encountered was very friendly.
The location of this restaurant is right on the water, we were here 1/3 so it was quite blustery, I can't imagine how lovely the setting is on a warm summer evening. We will be back!

I had a wonderful dinner at Alley Cat Oyster Bar, and I can't recommend it enough! We started off by trying three different types of oysters, each offering its own unique and delightful flavor. It was a great way to experience the variety that oysters can offer.
We also enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails that perfectly complemented our meal. For the main course, we tried the octopus and pork tenderloin, both of which were creative and delicious. The octopus was tender and flavorful, while the pork tenderloin was cooked to perfection.
One thing I loved about Alley Cat is that there truly is something for everyone, even for those who might not be huge seafood fans. The menu offers a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes while maintaining a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients.
The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience, and I highly recommend Alley Cat Oyster Bar to anyone looking for a memorable meal!

WONDERFUL!!! Our waiter was named Zach, who went above and beyond with costumer service. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Drinks and food was 10/10, and pretty atmosphere with a great view of the water! Overall awesome experience and we plan to return. Oysters were good, Zach explained the difference between the options and was very friendly. Also offer 10$ off the meal to go towards parking charge if you spent 100$. Fun valentines date with my boyfriend, and fairly reasonably priced with quality and portions. We made a reservation
