Our favorite family restaurant. The best in little Italy, hands down. we've been coming here for decades and it never disappoints. Angelo & his staff are top notch.

Easy to give top marks to Angelo and his restaurant. Awesome service, food and ambiance. Veal Parm was perfect, can’t wait to go back.

My family has been going to Nido’s for years during the Feast. This year there was a lot of rain the owner was understandingly upset. He was yelling randomly and at one point approached our table complaining that he had to turn people away. The restaurant was flooding in places and employees were using towels to try to soak up water. We had a good table at top middle of the stairs and just got another round of drinks, waiting out the rain. We had been at that table well before the rain started. Out of nowhere the owner came to my brother accused him for laughing because he “lost $10,000” because of the rain. We were caught off guard and my brother questioned what he was talking about. The owner then apologized and offered to buy us a round of drinks. My brother declined. The owner proceeded to have us removed with force towards my brother and 76 year old dad who hadn’t said a word. We explained to the police at the door what happened and asked for help. They directed us to a parked police car and said they could take a report. Those officers cracked their window 4 inches just to tell us that they were manning a post and couldn’t make a report.

During this I also watched the security and police at the door turn away a woman with a newborn baby as the rain poured down on them.

I went here to enjoy an evening out with friends. It was not the best experience…, we were treated like poorly In 2024. And I’d like to say the world is a much brighter space when everyone just grows up and gets along. Let go of ancient embedded hatred … prejudices and personal biases …. It’s ignorant. And uncalled for. Food was “fair” the setting was “fair” plenty of flies , Nats, and frowning waiters … no one greeted our table with a smile no one showed pleasant gestures … it was really an uncomfortable experience. I love Italian food Mainly because my daughter is a culinary arts college student at age 16. So this is what she adores which makes me 100% interested in the different native dishes the world has to offer… but needless to say this Experience caused me to pray more for our children and encouraged me to go back home to share with my children how important it is .. to be mindful not only my of your social group but where you choose to enjoy your birthday with friends after a productive week at work or home… it’s truly sad and unfortunate, unfair and embarrassing… God Bless and thank you for your efforts.

I came from Jersey looking for great Italian food. This place specifically in Little Italy has wonderful service with very knowledgable servers, great food, and immaculate vibes with outdoor seating. I love coming with friends. Tried this place and Luca last week and the price per quality ratio here hits a home run... sure its an upscale restaurant but for the quality of the food its worth it. Rack of lamb is very popular, my friends love it, and the chicken pasta I had was just delicious, especially with the bread and butter they give complimentary. Wine is great and reasonable as well!

We held our son and future daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner and welcome party here on June 14. Angelo and his staff exceeded our expectations! The food was phenomenal, the staff attentive and Angelo's attention to detail was superb. The patio was spectacular!! I could not be more appreciative of all they did to make this very special occasion the start of a beautiful weekend! Thank you!

Atmosphere was amazing the restaurant itself is beautiful, the service was also amazing and everyone was so nice and attentive. Unfortunately the food was not great, the calamari was bland, the caesar dressing on the salad was also a bit bland, I ordered the carbonara and it came out with the eggs literally scrambled, I don't think I've ever sent food back but this was a first for me, they were super nice about it and brought me a different meal and the gnocchi was not bad but I was bummed about the carbonara. Overall amazing service but lack luster food.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. Each dish was a masterpiece! The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were rich and flavorful. The wine selection was extensive, featuring some excellent Italian wines that complimented our food beautifully. And for desert, the tiramisu was simply divine, the perfect end to a perfect meal. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, professional and very friendly.

Overall, Nido Italia is a must-visit for anyone who loves Italian cuisine.
