I got a Philly Cheesesteak. As you can see, it looked delicious and fortunately it tasted just as good! The atmosphere was decent, and the food was great. At an affordable price as well! I'll definitely be stopping back by for some good food and a nice time. The draft beer went down great according to my buddy. I don't drink.

I ordered some mild buffalo wings, some sweet island heat - Mikey's wings, breaded banana peppers, and pretzel sticks as a to go order. My fiance loved his sweet island heat wings, but my mild buffalo was not flavorful at all. I couldn't even taste the sauce. I had to put franks red hot on them. They also charge you $1.00 each for a small cup of blue cheese or ranch and celery, which is kind of ridiculous. You also have to pay extra for cheese if you want that with the pretzel sticks, which you could tell weren't even made in-house. The banana peppers were ok at best. Most of them didn't even have batter all the way around them. Lastly, the servers were not friendly at all. When I walked in, I stopped by the counter since I didn't know where to pick up my food. The barmaid looked at me but never actually came over and asked if I needed anything. Then I saw the pick-up order sign and went over to the area. There was a worker putting silverware and napkins together that looked at me but did not say anything. Finally, the worker who was bagging my food looked at me and didn't say anything at first, bagged up stuff, and put it in front of me, then she asked for my name. She printed our the receipt and asked me to sign and just walked away without saying thanks, have a nice day, or even wait for me to hand her back the receipt.

Smoking on the patio ruins it. Its an enclosed patio with a roof. God forbid you want to eat outside and enjoy fresh air. Nit even sure if its legal to smoke on that patio.

Characters was one of those places that make you want to take a special trip to go back. I'm from Detroit and I will absolutely return when in the Cleveland area. The food was incredible.

I ordered the wings and a polish taco, being that it was Tuesday. While they were both good, the polish taco was one of the best things I've ever eaten. It had kielbasa, grilled onion, sour cream, sauerkraut, potato filling, on a pierogi bun. The kielbasa was phenomenal. It just seemed to have layers of flavor. The pierogi bun was very interesting too. I'd never tried one but it tasted great as well. It's unfortunate that they only have that polish taco on Tuesdays.

The wings, while not the greatest I've ever tried, had some very unique sauces to offer on the side. I had the suicide sauce and the raspberry BBQ sauce along with ranch and they were quite good. The wings were nice and crispy as well

The atmosphere is a typical bar setting; bar on the left and seating on the right, that's pretty spacious. There is also a patio outside to chill and hang out at.

The waitress was very friendly as well.

Overall, the food was great; particularly, the polish taco.
