We always enjoy Edwinds - the food, the ambiance and the service. Our experience on Saturday was disappointing - not the dining experience we have come to expect. We sat in the enclosed patio to watch the World Series. It was freezing cold then very warm. But we enjoyed the room and the opportunity to watch the game. It was not too loud. Our food took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive and then, I have to say, we were disappointed. I ordered the Bahn Mi burger which I expected to...
I think we had some bad luck. Our reservations were for 6:45, we didn't get seated until 7:30 even though customers with 7:15 reservations were sat before us. While waiting for our table at the bar not one single bartender acknowledged us, so we were never able to purchase a drink during our 45-minute wait. Our entree never came. We had an appetizer and salad and drinks and after being there for three hours decided to just pay for what we did receive and called it a night....
Ambiance, service, and food were excellent! Loved the jazz trio! It's a bit dark for us older folks, so it was difficult to read the menu, but that's more my problem than the restaurant's. I look forward to returning soon!
