Some places were closed in Tremont for holiday weekend; one even said open July 5 and it wasn't. HI and DRY was ready and open for business. Great experience

Waited over 10 minutes to get a drink . Barmaid looked right at us and skipped over, serving us to wait on what appeared to be possibly local customers. I even mentioned something to the guy working, and the gals STILL did not serve us . This was our 1st stop of the night .The bar was not that crowded. I had never met those people before, but that behavior was unexceptable . I would fire those girls for treating a customer like they did us . To finish with insult after the barmaid served people there looking for drinks after us , SHE GOT UP AND WALKED AWAY. I've been to this place more than once in the past, and the service has ALWAYS been below average. They have bowling lanes there that I love, but they jam up and have issues . This bar will shut down for private parties on the busyist days of the week Friday or Saturday with NO CHANCE OF GETTING IN TO BOWL.Who kills their business on the busyist days of the week for a small private party ? Ridiculous. There is no parking at all ,so make sure you don't UBER down there for a waisted trip like we did in the past . Call ahead of time if you want to deal with them . With the new EXACT, the same bowling lanes in Ohio City now, I recommend you go there instead .Service all around at Pins Mechanical is much better with plenty of other games and things to do there. I will never be going back to Hi and DRY, and that's where they are going to be left if service from those gals like that keeps up. There were a couple of customers next to us who saw the entire ordeal, and I hope they took note not to come back there again after what they saw. I know they were shocked at what had happened.

Hands down, without a doubt, the BEST chicken wings I've ever had in my entire life. I didn't know chicken wings could be this good. Super tender, fall off the bone. I can almost guarantee you've never had a wing like this. We tried the house hot and Thai peanut and both were absolutely outstanding. The Bleu cheese dressing?? To die for. The kitchen is killing it here, major props to the chef.

Loved the duck-pin bowling and the patio! Worked out well for our party of 5 to eat & bowl. Service was tough on Sunday afternoon, as bartender was our server in the duck-pins room *and* had people at & in the bar. Not easy for her, but she did a great job and was very helpful. Food was good, but big servings of fries got cold quickly and then didn't taste as good. Would go back (& get chips instead).

Carly is an incredible cook and the staff are all top notch. Great experience here and can't wait to come back.

I would rate this 6 stars if that was an option. The bartenders were friendly, quick service, and they had delicious food. Literally everything you could ask for. Max, Makenzie, and Kara were all great. Thank you all for a great experience at Hi and Dry!
