I found this place randomly while driving through Cleveland. The cafe offers fresh made baked goods,.coffees, teas and smoothies. All of the food looked delicious. If you want food from the shelves around the shop, you can grab a tray to help you carry everything and then just bring it to the register. I decided to try the Vietnamese iced coffee ( creamy, smooth, with a taste of bold coffee) and a sesame ball (filled with red bean paste). The sesame ball was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was tasty but it was a bit sweet and I think I expected a more savory flavor. Overall, I will be visiting again to try more of the bakery items.

I pass by this place All. The. Time. My favorite Youtuber snack/food reviewer SCJohnson (voice actor) recently highlighted this place and tried its delicacies. I told (commented) him I'd show this place some love. SO, my bro and I drove down today and got a Lemon Cup Fruit Tea, Mango Pomelo Sago w/ Lychee Jelly, a Chocolate Brownie, and a Chocolate Crepe Cake. O.M.G! The tea was so refreshing. The mango pomelo drink was "deliciously dangerous," according to my brother. The brownie and crepe cake were so decadent and not too sweet (I don't like tons of sugar). ABSOLUTE WIN! WE'LL BE BACK AGAIN! ❤️

A good friend brought me treats all the way from Cleveland to Detroit! Excellent delivery service lol. She said the man working the counter was very patient explaining the different pastries and buns, helped her choose a nice selection for us first timers trying new foods. I've never had asian sweets before and am hooked! The pork buns are best I've had outside Chicago. The red paste sesame buns and coconut cream buns are worth the drive down for a day trip! Also, my first Bubble Tea. Always sounded weird to me. Tried it, hey its a gift right? Surprisingly flavorful and fruity. Mango flavor was our favorite. More of a dessert drink than a tea to me, but very delish and would enjoy as a meal substitute on a hot summer day especially!
10 out of 10 recommend and put yourself in their hands. Koko Bakery is fresh (no preservatives!), clean, and very welcoming of everyone, they won't stear you wrong!

Great authentic Chinese based pastries with boba teas. Prices reasonable and great service. Limited seating area but plenty of parking in free lot. There are a number of popular items that get sold out early.

One of the best hidden gems in midtown//entire city of Cleveland! Everything is made from scratch, fresh daily or made to order , and beyond exceptionally delicious! ❤️❤️❤️❤️Koko Bakery! My favorite recommendations are Sesame balls, crepe cakes ,mango cheese tarts, mouses, and the handmade teas and specialty coffees that are in the soda and juice case. Unfortunately due to my schedule I am never able to come here in the morning but I have heard that all of the cases are filled with goodies and you serve yourself ; but you have to get there early because everything runs out fairly quickly because it is so good and fresh made. But no matter what time you come you can always get things from the case behind the counter and have drinks made to order they also have a nice selection of loaves of bread and cookies as well as whole cakes.
Just got a regular black coffee, but the pastries did look really good. Seemed like a large variety. Very nice staff also.

These buns. The fluffy pork buns. They are the best buns. I have been coming to Koko Bakery to buy these buns for almost 10 years. The buns have never changed. Very consistent. I love consistency when it comes to my favorite foods. I could eat 5 of these buns in one setting if I didn’t control myself.
