I've been dying to try Phnom Penh after someone told me that their absolute favorite restaurant in Cleveland was this. I have to say I was not disappointed at all! The menu is massive and definitely felt a little overwhelmed with what to order but the owner was very helpful in pointing us to dishes that he was sure we would like. We got one rice dish and one noodle dish, both of which were incredible. Service was amazing as well as we were checked on frequently. Overall, we loved our time here and will definitely be returning

The place was very inviting and comfortable. The staff were attentive and food was fantastic.Vegetarian options: Nearly every plate has vegetarian options.Parking: There is a main parking lot behind the restaurant that is $1 per hour. I was only there for about 45 mins so I ended up not even having to pay for parking.

We ordered dinner, and it was exactly as the menu described it. The food was excellently prepared, and when we went to pick up our order, the staff was very friendly. I wish I lived closer to this restaurant so that I could try more of the different things on the menu!

I had an ok experience at Phnom Penh. I ordered the Bayon with tofu at Dragon Spice level, the hottest spice level they offered. The flavors of the dish were fine and the dish was good, but it wasn't spicy at all. It was rather mild, instead. Our server never came to check on us after delivering our order to the table, so I didn't get a chance to ask about it. He only came by after we were finished to give us the check. I was just disappointed. The Dragon Level of spice is up-charged and costs a couple extra dollars, too, so I was really hoping it would be more substantial.

Great food that brings new flavors to the table. If you like Thai, you are going to love Cambodian, and this is the place to give it a shot. Service was a bit slow due to only one very pleasant and accomidating guy doing it all, with a small language barrier to overcome. The atmosphere is clean, yet the magazine rack is overflowing. MUST TRY.Vegetarian options: Most of every dish can be meat free. Be sure to ask for non-fish sauce. The default has fish sauce in it. The alternative is better than the fishy one anyway.

I recently visited Phnom Penh Restaurant and was blown away by the delicious food and excellent service. The restaurant offers a variety of vegan options, which was perfect for me. I ordered the vegan version of the Cambodian special dish and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portion size was generous. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend Phnom Penh Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Cambodian dining experience in Cleveland. Five stars!

My wife and I had lunch here today on the way from Chicago. We’re adventurous eaters but somehow had never had Cambodian good. Well, we’ll be having more! This place was DELICIOUS. She had a curry soup and I had some sort of stir fry with tamarind (I don’t remember the name but happily remember the taste). We’ve been all over the world and this food was up there for flavor. Highly recommended.

Their savory Crepe/pancake is amazing. Very unique flavor with well balanced acidity. Noodle dishes and curry are good. My first time trying Cambodian food. Would go there again to try different dish and have this crepe again.Parking: It’s in the back of the restaurant which you need to enter from small side lane.

I got the banh hoy, which was a vermicelli rice noodle with beef and onions wrapped in a lettuce wrap dipped in a house fish sauce. The fish sauce and noodles was quite good, unfortunately the beef wasn't that good. I was quite disappointed. This is family owned business, there was unfortunately one person as the waiter so it was a slow service, however he was very kind when he got to our table. The food did take some time to come out(I think there was only one person in the kitchen), unfortunately it was not worth the wait. It was very mediocre Cambodian cuisine. The mango tea was also lacking flavor. There was a certain flavor lacking in these dishes that I would expect from Khmer cooking. Ultimately I was disappointed here, but if you want to try Cambodian cuisine, it's an introduction to the cuisine and culture. Food: 5.5 Staff/service: 5 Overall: 5.3 /10

It took several minutes to get seated even though there were only 6 customers in the restaurant. The food also took awhile, around 25 minutes, and the portions were a little smaller than usual for what we ordered. But it was hot and tasty.

Before anything else, the service here is always excellent - friendly and fast. The food is delicious and well worth the price. Whether the food is "authentic" cuisine, I could not say, but I can confidently say that I've never had a bad meal here.

This place was kind of hard to find because of the constant construction and no windows. It was super stuffy and hot inside. Every piece of furniture had a light layer of stickiness on it and the chairs were a bit rickety. I had to wait at least 8 minutes to just get acknowledged even though there was absolutely no one else in the restaurant at the time. Another customer came in at the same time to pick up food so I asked him if there was anyone working here and he said it's sometimes like this where the staff is just busy doing stuff in the back for a while... The menu was great and everything looked tasty so the selection wasn't hard. The prices in person did not match the online prices so beware, folks. The portions were rather skimpy and there was slightly too much curry spice on everything but I did enjoy my noodles and finished everything pretty quickly. My BF and I got this egg soda drink that was DA BOMB though. I might come back once construction around the area is done but with the vast Asian choices available in CLE, I might not.

Loved the specials. The pho and spring rolls were also great. We will be happy to return.
