“I cannot recommend Porchlight enough! I have become a frequent flyer— no seriously— twice a dad visits. I love the convenience of their online ordering in the morning and their great cafe space for lunch. There is no wrong answer when it comes to their variety of flavors for your lattes. Truly a skillfully crafted coffee menu along with flavor-packed food options. My absolute favorite menu item is their harvest Cobb salad. I CAN’T GET ENOUGH! Dried cranberries, grilled chicken, feta (I think), walnuts, topped with the to-die-for maple vinaigrette on a bed of lettuce. Seriously, there is NO reason NOT to go to Porchlight. Cheers!”

“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!”

“The team from Old Carolina Barbecue Company were at our venue again last night and as usual provided stellar service. This was the second time this summer. In June catering was provided by Joseph, Gavin, Chase and Abby, and last night we had Tanner, Shannon, Chase and Abby. Both times they were timely, efficient and professional, and also added extra services like moving things around to serve appetizers outside, cutting and serving multiple cakes and leaving the kitchen spotless! All these things from a venue's perspective are so important. From the guests' perspective, of course, is the question "was the food good?" Yes it was! So good! They received many compliments. Great job guys! Thanks again!”

“Y'know, the older I get,the more of a pizza snob I'm becoming. A really good sausage pizza was becoming ridiculously hard to find. Until.today. I can remember my older bro and his wife ordering from Regina's when I was a kid 50 years ago. There's a reason they're a legend. This pizza was outstanding. Wonderful, soft crust, great amount of sauce and sausage that was cooked to perfection. Jojos had a peculiar smoke taste, like baked potatoes cooked over a campfire. Fantastic food. During the work week I unfortunately cannot go hear because of that I have to drive to another area and get Starbucks. I hope they fix this it is a really nice place.”

“We love Alexandris in Wadsworth and have been going here for many years. The food and service have always been exceptional. Today we had lunch and added on their Chicken Dumpling soup. I want to tell you that it was the best I have ever had. So much so that we took home a half gallon and had it for dinner as well.”

“Absolutely the best from Lake Erie to the Ohio River, and we've tried almost all of them in between! DURBIN gets the 1st place award. Nothing better, more reasonably priced or more consistent. The ever changing flavores for soft serve far exceed any other place. The hand scooped...well, they too are better than anywhere else. The toppings are high quality, and you can't leave without a jar of the hot fudge...it's is unbelievable! All in all, this is the best place for any ice-cream treat. 5 stars all the time.”

“Stopped in around 9:30 pm on a Friday for some donuts. The gentleman working the counter apologized for not having fresh filled donuts and cream sticks available however fresh cake donuts were up for grabs and some donuts that were left over from earlier in the day. I went with an assorted dozen- vanilla and chocolate coconut frosted cake donuts, a couple glazed, some powder sugar donuts both regular and cinnamon sugar, a devils food, lemon sour cream, regular sour cream, blueberry, and a chocolate frosted. I wish I could say there was a favorite but there wasn’t. All the donuts were so fresh and had a little crisp to them! Even the next day the donuts were fresh- even after cutting into most of them to try pieces none of the donuts went stale or hardened over night. The frosting was still soft as well. Great little donut shop, don’t let their hours get you they open back up in the evenings if you miss them in the mornings. Will be going back”
