We noticed this place had outdoor dining and we took a chance, asked and they allowed us to eat outside with our puppy. The gentleman who waited on us was so kind and all our food was amazing. I didn’t realize until after we left at 9:15-9:20 that they actually closed at 9pm and I felt horrible about that. Please check this place out, so good!”

Today my husband and I were eating a quick lunch and all of a sudden he started getting hot and sweating really bad due to his blood sugar dropping (he’s a diabetic). Our waiter noticed and immediately took him into concern and brought him a cake on the house to help him. We love this place and the staff.”

“I went here today and it didn’t not disappoint. The tacos are amazing and I loved be the queso. The only thing I think they could improve on is the corn salsa. It was mostly just canned corn. With fresh corn and a little more pico to corn ratio, it could be as great as everything else there. Don’t get me started on the top shelf margarita. It was so much better than they typically are in Mexican Restaurants.”

“The people that are running the place are so sweet and accomodating! The drinks were delicious! There are so many choices to choose from. The lady who took my order told me that if I didn’t like the drinks that I ordered she could remake something else I might would like instead as they are new and still trying to get the measurements right with the recipes but there was no need, they were so good! Slim Chickens has officially become my go-to spot for cheat day — except it barely feels like cheating because the food is just that fresh and high-quality. Sure, I load up on the calories (because how could you not?), but the ingredients are clean, the portions are generous, and I never walk away feeling gross or regretful.

Let’s talk sauce: their signature sauce, buffalo, and hot options are straight-up addictive. I could dunk pretty much anything in them and be happy — fries, tenders, napkins, whatever. And the mac and cheese? Easily some of the best in the area, and trust me, this town doesn’t play around when it comes to mac and cheese.

Service is always solid, food comes out hot, and I leave full and satisfied every time. If you haven’t tried Slim’s yet, you’re missing out. Cheat day or not, it hits every time.”

“I love Chinese food. My favorite place is Panda Express and this is the only place that I have found that comes close to the orange chicken that I like! The price is relatively common but you do get a ton of food. There is not really any real seating they mostly have seat to wait for your food, it seems that most people get it to go, you can eat there but it’s kinda small. The noise really is just the clinking of cooking utensils so it’s not loud at all. I love this place, it is so delicious!!”
