Absolutely the best ice cream in the area, they have some flavors that you can't get anywhere else. They are known for the grape pineapple ice cream, which doesn't sound like it goes together but it's great!! They have many flavors but honestly I can't get past the grape pineapple!!!
All 5 of us loved it. We were traveling to a college in Virginia and had to stop here for Ice cream. We came by at graduation and decided to stop again even if we have to go out of our way. The Turtle Sunday was the best we have ever had.

Every time we go to visit family in the area we always end up at Austin’s. The grape pineapple has a long time almost cult following. I’m glad they are staying open later n the year. I eat more ice cream here in a week then I do any other time of year any where else.
