“I had a calzone and mountain dew. My food was cooked perfectly. It was delicious. The only thing about it that I don't like is that they put a paper under it when they serve it. And when you cut the calzone the paper tries to go with the food. I don't like eating paper. I ended up removing the paper. Service was great. I would recommend this place for sure.“

“We had Whit's cater frozen custard at our wedding, and they were one of my favorite vendors to work with! Every single person I worked with was so incredibly sweet and helpful from the initial contact, to the tasting, to the day of the wedding. I worked with Emily the most, and she made everything so easy. There was so much flexibility in what they offered too! If we wanted a specific flavor, they worked with us to make it. Emily even made sure that the way they set up the table at our wedding would work well with the rest of our decorations. Then an unexpected highlight was being able to take home the leftover frozen custard and toppings that were not eaten during the reception. Such a treat! I should also say that the frozen custard itself was absolutely delicious! It was so fun having it at our wedding, and our guests loved it! I’ll definitely be getting Whit’s Frozen Custard every time I’m in Ashland!“

“Great food and I love the retro diner feel. Me and my wife had the southwestern egg rolls, fried cheese curd and munchers. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to go back and try more of their options. Service only received 4 stars because we had to wait to order a bit too long when they weren't that busy.

“Definitely one of our favorite places to eat. New owner definitely knows what they are doing. Food is always fresh, onion rings a HUGE, and you definitely get your money's worth. Give yourself a few extra minutes as they make all their food to order, which is absolutely fine knowing you are getting fresh food on every visit. “We will not be returning to eat there. Soft serve chocolate hasn't been available to customers in 2 months. we were told the machine has been broken. Hotdogs, hotdog sauce and cheese very low grade....Vietti, would've been better! Although, I'm Pretty sure it was Vietti. Fried mushrooms that were burnt, dried up mushroom inside of all 6 of them. Ranch dressing tasted old or stale. Husband's ice cream, Butter pecan, had an eye lash it!! It also tasted freezer burnt as well. We want to support local business, but this is not acceptable anymore.“

“This Dairy Queen is AMAZING! I've gotten ice cream cakes at this particular store for years, always nice but just a normal experience. They are clean, they have a good selection and are on my way home, it's a win/win. I had a fluke with Maiya's cake that she wanted yesterday, someone else was supposed to order it but didn't and I didn't find out until 3:00 p.m. ... I wanted to pick the cake up by 4:30 p.m. I just KNEW I was going to have to get her a different design. She would have been fine but she wanted this specific one. I called the store and the young lady that answered knew she couldn't promise to help without approval so she put the owner on. I explained what happened and how I know it might not be possible but turning 13 is important for a girl so if they can make this cake by 4:30 I would even pay extra. Not only did he not hesitate to help in every way, but he took my cake order and promised it would be done by the time I got off work, all while being busy as all heck on a 70 degree day in February. He even made jokes about the weather and being so busy. There was a stress in his voice but you could tell it was a good bit of stress that he handled perfectly. It really isn't common for most places to go out of their way for customers these days. They are sticklers to the guidelines, which is understandable. Normally a special design like the tye-dye pooh emoji needs to be ordered at least 24 prior to pick up... they helped me out in a pinch and it was done and ready to be written on by the time I walked up to their front counter. They had no problem helping me out at all and it really made my baby girl's day.“
