“Amazing! The place is always serving top tier quality dishes, and at a very reasonable price. A couple of my favorite dishes sadly had been temporarily removed to due to covid (rainbow trout lol) but that was more than understandable. The owner always remembers the wife and I, and she is always friendly, fun, and cool to talk to. The atmosphere is nice, the beer is cold, and wait staff are always on point. I recommend the ohio big pig, the Tennessee chicken, or one of there fish dishes. Barummundie is quite nice. ?“

“We stopped in for the first time this past Sunday for supper and the food was fantastic! My husband and son got the pretzel rods and a pizza. The pizza was amazing and crust was perfect thickness. I ordered the stuffed mushroom app and the tilapia and let me tell you what- those mushrooms were off the wall! The garlic butter was so good I put some in my tilapia and it took a great fish to a whole new level. They were short 1 waitress, however did a fantastic job keeping up and no one would have known any better. Definitely coming back!!!!“

“For my 1400th review, I am going to write about my families experience at The Anchor. Ever since my family started to explore Celina's shops and restaurants about a year ago, The Anchor has been on my list of places to try. I am very glad we finally got around to it, as the entire experience was stupendous! We came one Friday night after work and parked next to The Anchor. We walked into this intimate and cozy pub and were immediately seated. The server gave us sometime to peruse the drink and food menus as we never had been to the pub. My brother got a beer, my mother and I both ordered some mixed drinks. My mother ordered the Tiki Torch, which is a mix of Bacardi Silver Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, and grenadine. She absolutely loved it! I also tried some and found if quite refreshing. I ordered the Sailboat Sour, which is a blend of Four Roses Bourbon, simple syrup, lemon juice, blackberry brandy, sugar rim, garnished with a lemon slice. The drink was fantastic! I strongly recommend! We also ordered the cheese curds as an app, some of the best I have ever had! My brother and I both ordered burgers. He went with the cowboy burger, while I went with the bacon double. The burgers were perfection and the fries it came with were crunchy and hot. My mother ordered some chicken tenders with fries, which she thoroughly enjoyed! She couldn't finish the meal, as it was too much chicken for her. No worries, i had one bite and i couldn't stop until i finished what she left! Chicken was perfectly seasoned! The service was excellent throughout the time we were there! It is a wonderful little pub in Celina that I recommend everyone try!“

“Always love the Willow, but last night the fries were very soggie, like they had been laying around for awhile.for as busy as they were, you would have expected fries to be crispy& fresh. & the sugar cream pie tasted like wallpaper paste. (Would not recommend, the Sugar cream pie at all) We ate their about 6.45pm. As far as recommending what foods are good, it is all delicious, but the fries, & pie was not acceptable.“

“remember my first rodeo on this side of the mississippi, about 50-60 years back, sailed across the lake; vicious ride -- lost my wife, dog, 3 kids, if you can name it, i lost it out those rolling waves that fateful month. stopped at the shingle shack just a child, left a man the way those shingles ran through me. got the roofer's special: a treat of around 3 dozen 1/4lb burgers topped with a spoon of canned corn, ketchup, and a side of antifreeze for dippings (our stomachs were stronger back then on account of all the lead). i ate them all in a half hour -- rather slow, considering humans were on average 200-300lb heavier and 2 feet taller those days, before soy products and all -- and before i knew it they beckoned; hit an eject button of sorts, to leave from mouth to colon within minutes.i entered the bathroom with a dread: yet to this day that is as far as i truly remember. the food was just alright; my gastrointestinal tract has not yet and seemingly never will recoverREST IN PEACE LADY DI 1961-1997“

“Oh my God. So I'm mostly a steak guy. Filet mignon to be clear. Meet a guy and gal by the name of Paul and Holly as I recall who recommended the pork chop and scallops respectively. And while the scallops were worth getting... The marinated pork chop was unreal. Holy God almighty that chop was amazing. Can't finish chewing it without a l conscious pause to allow the flavor to sing it's song. Wow. Stop in. Say hallelujah. Amen“
