“We were staying in Jackson Center, OH at the Airstream plant and went touring around and found Alcove Restaurant for breakfast. We love small town hole in the wall diners and this one was perfect. Local place with a very busy grill. Good coffee and hot food. Sorry didn't get any pics but we would definitely go back.“
“Samuel has waited on me at the drive through window a few times now. He is very pleasant, excellent customer service skills and wants to make sure the orders are complete! Employees like him, DO need recognized and also by the company! It can make or break a visit with the experience at the window.“
“This restaurant is perfectly situated right downtown on the square. They have a great menu with lots of options for the whole family. The flavors are spot on, too. The only thing I would note is that I wasn't a huge fan of the gouda Mac n cheese, as all I could taste was the bacon in it. I preferred the regular Mac n cheese better. You could lose yourself in the cheese sauce flavor. Also, if you order Philly, you might want to ask for something like au ju or cheese sauce as it has a lot of bread, which makes it seem a bit dry for my taste by itself. I used the cheese sauce that came with the pretzels, and it was perfect. You'll love this place.NOTE: If this review has helped you in any way, PLEASE like this review so it can be elevated faster for this establishment so they can be informed as to how well they are doing! “I treated myself to the Salmon with a honey ginger glaze. It was absolutely delicious. The service was great. The whole place is very quaint.Dietary restrictions: There aren't any dietary notations on the menu. I had to ask to be sure what was or was not gluten free. Be sure to ask for modifications, if needed (ex: no croutons on the salad, etc).Parking: The nearest lot is small. Street parking is the best option. Depending upon the time of day, this could be difficult.“
“If you’re looking for a hometown diner retro style this is it! It’s worth the short drive off the highway if you’re just passing through. It’s well known for their pies and their cheeseburgers. Two bites into my meal and I felt like I time ported. Great job always on the atmosphere and the food quality.“
“I was intrigued by the prices. They are very affordable. But I was unsure if I wanted a coffee so I decided to get a small coffee and she charged me 3 dollars for a tiny cup of coffee. So that just took all the positivity out of the experience. I will never buy a drink with my meal from this particular location again me byParking: Lot is small but parking is decent“
“Met up with family for brunch-breakfast all day was a big bonus for us! The food is plentiful and delicious, and our service was great! I got the breakfast skillet -it was great, and the breakfast potatoes taste amazing! They also offer a military discount so that was nice too.Parking: Nice number of handicap spots, so that was good for my grandparents meeting up with us.“
“Had dinner again 2 years later. Not very busy but very noisy. Food was burned and terrible. Server was very nice. I won’t go back. The food is good and service is great but the restaurant is too noisy. Was there this evening and in addition to the noise from the customers, they were also playing music. Also, with all the new eateries around the square, there is a definite need for more parking.“
“Not just another very cool Americana Dive Bar. But an oasis in a land of cornfields and industrial blue collar plants Friendly non pretentious locals. Ice cold beer and that blonde bartender,.... Dayum,.... Made me feel right at home! Even though I was Deaf and Dmb at the time!“
