“I grew up in Park Layne and live just down the street. This place is very special to me. We were waited on by Christina on Sunday March 17, 2024 for lunch. She was awesome. One of the best waitresses I have ever had. I have just one complaint which I don't like to say...the onion rings, which is one of my favs on the menu, was over cooked almost burnt. However, they were good not enough of a let down to upset me. I'm always very pleased whether I dine in or do carry out. I grew up with that restaurant.“
“Been coming here since I was a little kid since they've been around longer than me. The place is very well known locally and has changed ownership several times over the years. Thankfully, the current owner has done an excellent job of bringing the place back to its former glory along with being open to trying new things to keep things fresh. They've always been best known to us for their signature foot long coneys and draft root beer. Anytime we're back home visiting family we have to stop if it's within season. The staff are excellent and it's rare to find any legit drive in places anymore but if you're in the area or close enough during the summer season, we highly recommend checking it out!“
“When this was Rancher's it was my favorite roast beef place. Since Rax took over the quality and menu a similar but a little bit has changed and it's not quite as good. Fries often come out soggy. It would be nice if they'd open the inside back up. This place is hands down way better than any Arby's. I recommend trying it if you like roast beef.“
“Our waitress (Serina H) was excellent. She was very personable and professional. The food was excellent. They have the best Broasted Chicken. The restaurant was very clean with plenty of room. I highly recommend this restaurant.God Bless.Parking: Easy access to the restaurant. Well maintained.“
“Great food. We were in town to visit the Air Force museum. I researched restaurants before we left home. Not only are the food and prices fantastic, it's only 5 minutes from the museum. When we visit again, we plan on having breakfast again, then driving over for lunch, instead of eating at the museum.“
“Our visit to Texas Roadhouse was spot on for a random Wednesday night! Right from the start, the Onion Bloom set the bar with its crispy, flavorful petals. The steaks were the star, especially the Ribeye, cooked to tender perfection with just the right amount of smokiness ??The fried catfish was just what we expected with the cornmeal nice and crispy. The fresh, crisp salads were the perfect side, rounding off a meal that was as delicious as it was satisfying ??Service was great, making our visit even more enjoyable with the atmosphere lively and welcoming. Texas Roadhouse always delivers on all fronts as we usually know what to expect. Regulars that will continue to be Regulars! ?#TexasRoadhouse #SteakLovers #WednesdayVibes“
“When ever I have a school field trip we always come here food is great , staff friendly, service 4 stars!! Small cafe restaurant but worth the wait. Sadly their hrs are short dayParking: Cant say we usually walk around town and just stop in“
“Lovely little restaurant! This place is truly a hidden gem, they served me the best restaurant breakfast I’ve had in a long, long time.My boyfriend and I came in the morning after the eclipse and the place was slammed with only one hostess/waitress, who was completely overwhelmed and frazzled trying to keep up with everything; I felt bad and wish they’d had more staff so she could’ve had help! We did wait to be seated for 20-30 minutes but it was worth it, the breakfast was outstanding. Amazing biscuits and gravy, excellent locally roasted coffee, and the best pancakes of my life with real maple syrup. Loved that many of the ingredients were locally sourced. 10/10. I will be back as soon as I can!“
“Had a wonderful experience. What set the tone and honestly was the best part was the person taking our name for the waitlist, Chris. They were so personable, funny, and encouraging. Their energy remained that way the whole time. Saying sweet things and interacting with everyone. I saw them tell a 3-4 year old, “you are going to change the world”. Our waitress and food were also great. We were really impressed with Chris.“
“Roosters is a great place to go! Food, beer, service, all were excellent! The wings are much bigger than BWW (almost twice as big) and much more flavorful. We ordered Medium and had a side of Garlic Wing sauce and that was an amazing combo. The pizza was delicious, the 9" seems like it would be a small size but they pile on the toppings and it definitely was more pizza than I was expecting! We will definitely be going back!“
“We had a great time yesterday and enjoyed some really reallyyyyy amazing burgers with brisket burnt ends... when the burgers came out, they forgot the brisket.. but not to worry because they fixed the burgers in no time and even sent us home with extra brisket burgers! Our waitress had a very unique name, I wish I could remember, but she was very kind and personable! We will be back soon! Great staff and great food.. can't wait to go back!“
“Burgers, Meatloaf, Ribs & Jambalaya were the main courses of our large group. Everyone was happy with their meals, the waitress Kaira? was excellent.Very pleased!Wheelchair accessibility: Good, every space was taken when we were there but it was still accessible.“
“Staff was unbelievable friendly and helpful unfortunately they were out of brosted chicken but we ordered wings (drumsticks) they were very large several flavors to choose from I got garlic Parmesan quite tasty orders were a lot of bang for your buck... Hope yours is as good as mine was?“
“So wish we had Loretta's south of Dayton. Food is great. Many wonderful side dishes. Every kind of Homemade pie you can think of. Service was great. I can't say enough about Lorettas. Totally worth the drive there!FYI. They except cash only.“
“The Ye Old Trail Tavern (Ohio's oldest tavern) was today's lunch location. Sitting on their patio felt like snagging a VIP seat to the best people-watching spot in town, all while basking in the comfiest warm air. The fish and chips were perfect! The fish? Crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth inside. And those chips? Couldn't stop munching on them. They were a little light with the small sample of cole slaw...could have provided moreThen came my wife's BLT - thick, crispy bacon with the freshest tomato and lettuce, all hugged by perfectly toasted bread. Service was chill and on point, making the whole vibe just right. Whether you're here for the fish and chips, that BLT, or just to chill and soak in the scene, the Tavern is a good choice. Only knock is they have just one fryer so if a lot of people order fish, it will slow your order down. Can't wait to hit up this spot again!“
“Friendly service, large seating area if you're with a larger group, although we typically sit at the bar. Decent selection of beers, including IPAs. Solid bar food including pizza. Decent set up for watching the games. Overall a decent sports bar which includes some games including pop shot for your kids if needed.“
“It’s always a good time at Peach’s! Good food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. The owners are highly invested in this community and give back so much. The staff members are some of the best around. Lucky you if you get Bill, whom I’ve personally dubbed the best server in Yellow Springs. Enjoy indoor or outdoor seating. It can get busy as a popular spot to grab food, so arrive early and enjoy yourself!“
“Last time I was there, I had the Fairborn burger, and a side order of garlic bread. The burger was fairly standard, but quite a large one for its $10 price tag, so I feel it was a good deal. The garlic bread on the other hand, hardly tasted of garlic at all, and seemed to be a couple slices of French bread basted with a very thin layer of butter that had once been in the same room as a bottle of garlic powder. The fries are steak fries reminiscent of Red Robin's. The house salad dressing is a good choice if you like tangy vinaigrettes. The dining room is sparsely decorated, and some of the booths are not in the best repair. The service is always very friendly, and the man bussing the tables is quite the character. I can tell this place has a lot of regulars, and I suppose I may become one of them in time. The first time I visited I had the chicken and dumplings Sunday special, which was excellent comfort food and extremely filling. It's bottomless, but I couldn't manage more than that first serving.Go ahead and check them out.“
“Nice change of pace here as I am not a fan of bars or alcohol. Expecting bar food, I was surprised with the offering here. My sister had a steak with diced potatoes that she thoroughly enjoyed. On recommendation, I had the Philly Cheesesteak that was served in a pita with waffle fries on the side. It all tasted great and the service was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning to try other entrees as they have a lot to offer.“
“I will say the food was pretty good, the waitress seemed a bit all over the place as did everyone else. I know everything is new and you guys still getting the hang of things so we will be back in a few months to see how things have progressed. One critique, the chef having all the waitresses enter the kitchen from the back doesn't make sense. I get why he's doing that, but at the same time if you are sitting by the back door you are FREEZING. I'm not sure if another door was left open or not but it was cold. The back patio is very nice though, I was very impressed with the layout. I was also very impressed with the vibe of the entire restaurant.Keep up the good work!“
“Clean, even the bathrooms. Classic Waffle House environment. Service was great.Dietary restrictions: Ask and they will do what they can.Kid-friendliness: Safe, would be fine for kids who are louder but not a place where they can leave the table. Places for them to sit at end of the counter and be a "big kid".“
“Food: Cheese plate was fantastic. Winter salad was good. Crespelles Stuffed with Spinach and Ricotta were cold and Ricotta was too thin. Wild Caught Cod Chowder Style fried leeks on top were not good. Had to scrape off the plate. Rest of the dish was good. Hot mocha coffee was luke warm.Service: GoodAtmosphere: Dining room was cold“
“I live 1.3 miles from DJ's. I moved to the area 2 years ago. I just tried their dole whip last week and went back again yesterday. I am so disappointed it has taken me so long to visit! To be fair, I did try to visit a couple times when I first moved here but I gave up after waiting over 15-min each time.My last visits were quick. I went later in the evening and during the week!Oh I also had their cheese curds. It was okay.“
“This waffle house is exactly like every other one. Depending on what time you visit, you can get in & out pretty efficiently but sometimes, like all businesses, your customers dont communicate with each other and when a whole lot of them show up at once, well, with some feeling entitlement, things can get a little uncomfortable very quicklyWheelchair accessibility: They have it.Seemed like it took an inordinate amount to fill my padi melt + fries order and there werent more than three other customers.BTW....Nen's room was cleaner than almost every WH I've visited in years“
“This location was clean and tidy. The food was good. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I think the food has gotten smaller. But that's to be expected probably in the economy that we're in. The service really we didn't have no service whatsoever at this location. We did not talk to one employee. It's almost self-served. The only time my cousin spoke to anyone was when he walked up to get our food. And that was just to thank them. The only other confusing part was. Now when you use the soda machine you have to use a QR code if that's attached to the bottom you receipt. This will operate the soda machine. Do not lose that slip of paper or you will not be able to get a refill. Prices were pretty reasonable. Although the $4 meals now I think went up to over five bucks. Can't remember exactly but they wasn't $4. But still worth the time that I spent with my cousin at a decent restaurant. Was not crowded at all. They were a few people in there but nothing like to be concerned about. But I would recommend going to this location. We will go back for sure.“
“First timers at the 571 Grill. We arrived at noon on a Saturday and it didn't take long for it to fill up. Food was excellent and staff was friendly. My husband ordered the Haystack and I ordered the Vampire Slayer. My burger was juicy and bigger than the garlic toast it was in!! Loved the sautéed mushrooms and onions and garlic aioli sauce. We definitely will be going back!!!“
