The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better...read full review

Steak 'n Shake is a great place to meet with family for excellent food at great prices. Their milkshakes are the best around. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with a convenient chair ramp. The service at the drive-thru was polite, although there was a missing hotdog in one order. Despite the hiccup, the overall food quality was good, making it a worthwhile visit for a tasty burger and fries. Recently, customers have noted that the wait time has improved significantly, with meals being served in around 4-5 minutes, which is faster than expected. The managers have been described as super friendly, and the restaurant is kept clean. However, some customers experienced issues with communication at the drive-thru, particularly during busy times. The chili has received praise for being fantastic, and the garlic double burger was generally good, though some found it a bit too crispy. There are new beef tallow fries available, and customers can buy the tallow if they wish. There are some minor inconveniences with ordering by kiosk and having to scan receipts for drinks, but these do not bother everyone.
