“I feel like every American in the 80’s and 90’s grew up with a sub shop like this- no-nonsense, family owned, great food at reasonable prices. Here, they call it mayo, not aioli. Got a baked ham and a cheesesteak. Bread was flat, easy to grab and bite, crispy on the outside/chewy on the inside. Crisp lettuce, a little tang from mayo. Such a killer restaurant!!!!! 10 out of 5“

“Amazing experience as out of towners passing through. We were seated immediately and Grant was extremely warm and welcoming right away. We enjoyed a conversation at the bar with Grant, Sunny and Josh while we had our late lunch which was AMAZING! So glad I chose this spot to fill our bellies and meet some locals 🥰👏 would love to visit again soon!“

“We were on a train excursion to Urbana and decided to go here for the layover and have lunch. They were inundated with people waiting and we still got in within about 15 minutes or so which we felt was very quick. Service was quick, and the food came very quick, especially considering how many people were here. The food was delicious, I’d highly recommend the hog log. Will make a special trip to come back and eat here again for sure.“
