“This is a quaint little iconic bar that serves food. I can say it’s been in business for at least 55 years. I can remember going there when I was 5 to eat. Not much has really changed. It’s a small establishment with a fair menu, especially for breakfast. It had delicious fried mush, which you rarely see anymore. The food is not bad and reasonably priced. The wait staff and is hit and miss; sometimes they get to you right away, sometimes they act like you have the plague and take forever, even if there is nobody else there. It’s very small. I’m going to guess the max capacity is about 50, including the bar seating. Parking can be tricky; it’s a stone lot with no markers, so people sort of park how they want. That being said, I wouldn’t recommend you going in a group larger than 4. I don’t think you would be sitting together. Overall not a bad experience but not my first choice at the lake“

“The food was great. The cheese for the pretzel bites reminded me of a beer cheese type cheese sauce. The chili for the 1/2 lb foot long dog is a little sweet. Even with those things considered was excellent. The root beer float was perfect. The shakes are crazy thick. Look forward to coming back here.“

“My wife and I had amazing meals at Lulu's at the Lake recently! My eggs benedict were perfectly poached and her steak and eggs were amazing! The steak was tender and it melted in your mouth as if it was from a downtown, high-end steakhouse. Thanks for a great breakfast and we can't wait to come back!“

“We were coming home from a little day trip. Found the lake and thought why not eat there. Stopped at Froggys. I have to say the food was a solid 5 star. The music was good. A lot of people but didn’t feel crowded. The service was a little poor as in a lot of people checked on us not our server. I would recommend coming here passing thru town. Solid 4.7 star outta 5 in my opinion.“

“We were originally looking for taco salads, but after seeing the taco pizza on the menu ordered it instead. OMG, this thing was da bomb! We ordered an extra large! lots left over, but wife is sharing the rest at work with friends. Best taco pizza I have had in my 62 years. It was our first visit but will not be the last. Excellent beyond all expectations.“

“We were on our way through for an event in OH and this place seemed like a good stopping point. The atmosphere was fun. Live music that was good. Heck there were 2 people from the audience that joined in and hit a home run. The food was typical bar food. Nothing fancy but the fresh cut fries were great. The service was spot on. Very friendly and if I ever come back through here I’ll be stopping.“

“First time being back since they first open. The staff was great got seated right away then the waiter was right there taking drink orders. I ordered wings and garlic parm fries. Wife got the burger with the pulled pork on it. everything came out hot and fresh with great taste. There was a couple downside my wings came out needing a life jacket way to much sauce. Plus for being a sit down restaurant it would of been nice to have actual silverware instead of pre packaged plastic silverware. Will definitely be back.“

“First time boating at Indian lake and first time here. Let’s face it they have a lot going on for them. On the water with boat parking, great vibe. The food was exactly what I expected. Decent bar food. The issue was the details. Ordered a taco salad with no onions. It came out loaded with onions and they forgot the dressing. My wife picked the onions off and I went inside and got dressing. Not the end of the world of course. When we ordered our drinks we asked for a cup of ice and that was forgot. If it wasn’t on the lake it would be a 3 star. We ordered the taco salad and beer battered shrimp.“

“First time trying Buckeye At The Lake while staying at Indian Lake State Park, and it did not disappoint! The pizza was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had, and the wings, fries, and salad were just as amazing. 10/10 recommend! The food is fantastic, but the customer service is what really sets them apart. The staff truly care about their kitchen team and it shows. We’ll definitely be back every time we’re at the lake!“
