“We just wanted to give the Dawg House a HUGE shoutout and recommendation as the BEST sports bar and live music venue in all of Lorain County!! Not only do we play there periodically, our members frequent the Dawg House for their outstanding service, food and drink menu, and tremendous selection of live music acts on our nights off of gigging. Eric (owner) is the best bar owner we know, and he makes everyone feel welcomed and special when they visit. His staff is top notch, friendly and extremely attentive. If you want an outstanding experience watching sports, live music, playing trivia, or just enjoying their amazing food, you’ve found your place!!! 5 stars for sure!“

“Our meal was great! Kid-friendly. Great service! Comfortable local restaurant that was moderately busy, but not packed and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Trivia night. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Rice bowl with chicken, boneless wings, burger, and turkey Rachel sandwich. Ryan brought out our apps and kept checking on us. “I have had the pleasure of dining at Arnies a few times this summer and it is now my new favorite spot! The ribs and the wings are the best in town! I love that it is family owned and operated and you can tell the owner takes pride in his food, his staff, and his customers. What a great atmosphere to catch some live music or hit a bucket of golf balls at the range next door. We finished our evening off with some chocolate lava cake and that my friends is a great day! “I had to take a moment to share how fantastic our experience was tonight! Our server was truly outstanding. Despite a packed house, she managed the entire dining room on her own with incredible attentiveness and patience. This level of top-tier service is rare, and as service workers ourselves, we had to give her well-deserved kudos. The food was equally impressive—the pretzels were unique and delicious, and the steak salad was honestly the best I’ve ever had. This place is a gem in the neighborhood!“

“After my mother passed away I was in a scramble to make all the plans. I had less than a week to find a place for her celebration of life. The manager Jason, was not only very helpful but patient as we work through all the details.
Having a large family I was wondering how this would work. The space was perfect. The service was just wonderful all the ladies serving us were attentive, helpful, and gracious.

The food was quite good. We were not thrilled with the pizza (I think maybe just a bit overcooked) but everything else was a 10! (Pizza was a 8).

I would definitely book this space again for any type of gathering. And honestly like just have meet ups here.

The food is good at reasonable prices, and the staff is great (except for that short haired lesbian bartender that keeps the busboys in check) They also seem to draw a very friendly clientele that are the kind of folks you enjoy drinking with!!“

“The staff is great and so is the dj. The atmosphere is always friendly. French fries are ok but I'm pretty sure they are fried with the chicken and the menu doesn't offer anything else for people with dietary restrictions, so if u are veg definitely eat before you come.“

“My 3 girlfriend's and I were out shopping and were not familiar with the area. So we googled restaurants near me. Barley Jack's came up. So we decided to give it a shot. Boy, were we surprised. The atmosphere, the food and service was awesome. We definitely will be back. I couldn't stop eating the fries..

“I went there for the first time for the Christmas party/ Customer appreciation party this past Friday and it was a fun night. They had santa walking around, a photo booth, a raffle giving away empty liquor bottles decorated for Christmas or Valentine's day. I was lucky enough to win one, a group called "Decades" sang mainly 60s music and when they finished there was karaoke until 12. This bar is very spacious. A ton of tables to sit at. A long wrap around bar. 4 pool tables. I definitely recommend this bar.“
