“Nice place good cold beer and chilled mugs but a bit funny about their pull tab debts and bar games. Won $300 and they told me to come back tomorrow. Told em I’d trade em $100+ a cool chief wahoo sign but then they came up with the money. Imagine that.“

“One of my favorites. The food and atmosphere are terrific. We prefer to sit in the booths near the fireplace. The service is good but not great. We’ve had a waitress a few times that is excellent but we’ve had a couple of other servers that were good but not great which makes the service a bit inconsistent for me. Overall we really enjoy coming here and would recommend for others.“

“After a long exciting day at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we needed fuel before our return to Chicago. We googled "food near us", not wanting a chain. The rating was about 4.5 so we decided to try it. Initially I asked the other patrons if food is actually served there, and they pointed to an area where the owner was cooking. He was genuine and warm, we ordered beverages before he returned to the kitchen to finish another customer's food order. My gyros was terrific and flavorful and my husband's club sandwich was also loved. It was clear the French fries were fresh - we are some even though trying to hold up to our resolutions to eat more healthily. One comment mentioned by a previous reviewer, yes it is a bar with a grill and not a restaurant per se. It would be helpful if the ambiance was enhanced a bit so females felt more at home. The bathrooms could use some TLC, and the floor tiles a nail or two to prevent tripping. Looking at it through a new set of eyes is the way to go. Think: date not boy's club and attract a new crowd. “We love to support local restaurants and Bar Nova is one of our favorites! We often get carryout and everything travels so well. It is prepped with care.Parking: There is limited parking right near the restaurant, but there is a large lot not far away.“

“Visiting from out of town and decided to try this place for a little late night dinner. The staff was super friendly. The food was outstanding! We had smoked wings with buffalo sauce and a cheese pizza with a great crispy crust. Definitely a great place if you're in the mood for some cold beer and good bar food.“

“I showed up for the Stefanski show an too see an talk to Anthony Walker Jr. from the Cleveland Browns. Razzles did a amazing job being able to handle all the people an traffic. They seemed prepared an unfazed by the hectic scene. Collen i believe the servers name was, he found me my wife, an her friend a table right in the middle of it all. “Came in for burger night on Monday. Excellent value for a large burger and hand cut fries. $8 can't beat it. If you're not playing trivia, it's loud and can be annoying. Didn't realize it was trivia night too. We came in near the end of it, so we only had to listen to about 30 minutes worth. Service was good. Ended up paying $48 plus tip for 4 drinks, an order of mozzarella sticks, and two burgers.“

I was hesitant at first to try it because usually when people say they have Nashville hot chicken, they usually let it sit in the sauce and it becomes very soggy. Not here. I was pleasantly surprised to know that the chicken was indeed very crispy and a comfortable amount of heat instead of making me run for my drink. The chicken was seasoned correctly and the dressing on the sandwich helped bring everything together.Our server, Hayley is such a sweet woman and she was so attentive to our table. “Was thoroughly disappointed with the service. I walked in around 6:10 and sat down at the bar. I counted and there were 13 then went up to 15 other patrons at the bar with 3 bartenders behind the bar.. I left at 6:30 as not a single one acknowledged that I was there and never offered any service. After being ignored for 20 minutes and watching them take other orders, why would I ever go back? I gladly took my business and money elsewhere, where the bar was far busier and was helped in a minute of sitting down. Horrible service by folks who don't car. Must be because it was my first time there and not a local. SMH.UPDATE: I gave them a second chance as that night could have been a fluke. Was served instantly by a very spirited and fun bartender within a minute or two of sitting down. Was a long day so ordered some food.. dang it was good! I was pleasantly surprised and honestly happy I went back to give them another shot. I can say that I will 100% be back. (But the parking does suck LOL, but hey.. when life gives you lemons).“
