The Bourbon house is a gem in Columbus that I don’t think many people know about and it has the biggest whiskey collection in Columbus! It is a crafty place with crafty bartenders serving the brightest spirits all year round. Located downtown in a protected historic building called The Buckeye Building it offers enough space for all types of occasions and gatherings. Great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere!
This is an amazing bourbon bar with a great happy hour. The Old Fashioned is fantastic and the bar staff also was great at making drinks based on the liquor request. The food was outstanding. The bourbon nachos and salmon sliders hit the spot and the perfect amount to split between two people. The atmosphere is also warm, welcoming and the history of the building is showcased. This will definitely become a regular stop!
We have been here a couple times. We love the table shuffle board game, which is free to play. They have drink and food deals for happy hour. It is located in the lobby of a hotel in an old building that used to be a bank and has lots of character. We highly recommend the place and will probably come back again.

The building has a nice ambiance with ample seating and a couple of shuffleboard tables. The cocktails are fantastic, and the bartenders are knowledgeable and helpful, often asking questions about guests' preferences. While there is no table service, guests can order drinks and food at the bar, although it can be hard to get service when busy due to the layout. The food menu is limited, but the flatbreads are generously portioned and arrive quickly. Standout dishes include the prosciutto hot honey flatbread and meatballs, with the meatballs being recommended as a great snack while sipping drinks. The nachos are more akin to those found at a sports stadium. With its attached hotel and street parking options, Buckeye Bourbon House is a great spot to enjoy a drink and a bite with friends.
