Once again, we had a fantastic dinner at Butcher and Rose. It is by far my very favorite restaurant in the Columbus area. Not only was the food delicious, the drinks, amazing, but our waiter, Jamie, once again impressed us with his attention to detail, excellent service, and his ability to be one step ahead of our every need. I can't say enough about every experience we've had at butcher and Rose.
This was our fourth or fifth time dining here, and it was a rather enjoyable experience once again, with the food and atmosphere being as good as ever. However, I must say that while it was a good experience, it was also the worst because the service was incredibly slow and forgetful. We had to ask about forgotten sides to be brought out, waited for the server to check on how everything was going so we could mention a few things, and even needed to follow up on other appetizers...read full review

Butcher & Rose is a high-end steakhouse known for its great steak and elegant ambiance. The service is attentive and gracious, with knowledgeable servers who help guests choose their dishes and make dining decisions easier. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying an exceptional meal. While the sides may not be shareable, the food, including the Toro, pork chop, Piedmontese Filet, and lamb, is consistently praised as amazing. The steak is often described as over-the-top amazing and perfectly cooked, with some guests calling it possibly the best steak they've ever eaten. The whipped potatoes are so delicious that guests could eat the entire side themselves. The restaurant also offers an impressive selection of non-alcoholic drinks, including the incredible “Shakerito,” and has thoughtful gluten-free options. The carrot dish—served over creamy puréed potatoes and topped with pistachios—is a standout favorite. The dining experience at Butcher & Rose feels intentional and above and beyond, making it a refined and enjoyable choice for repeat customers.
